Robbie, Andrew and some of the other staff call you by your name when you come in, which is awesome! Fountain drinks are priced fairly even through all of the inflation hikes, food is pretty good as convenience store food goes, you can even sit down and drink a beer out two if you'd like. (Which I haven't but thought it kinda cool that you can do that in Pa Now). Gas prices are comparable to others in the vicinity... And they have rewards where you can save $ on gas as well.

Instead a seed was planted here and cultivated and up sprung a gas station/convenience store. A common sight along this corridor that connects Pittsburgh to the rest of western Pennsylvania. Speedway has steadily been increasing their presence in the area and usually within distance to create competition with a nearby gas station chain. There is no difference in this area. New Alexandria has been kind of an oasis while driving Route 22 with it's one gas station that was open 24/7. With the addition of this station you now have a choice. Speedway is similar to the competition up the road in several ways. Open 24/7, offers food, and has a wide selection of items that you can grab and go. However this spot has a couple variations. First they offer diesel for the bigger vehicles on the roadways, so the lot is larger. Another is that they offer a sit down area to eat your food. Speaking of the food. Some of the items are heavy on the stomach and others are sparse on the toppings. Quick in the sense that once you order, by the time you pay your items are ready for pick up. One thing I do not like about this place is the fact that you do not seem to get great gas mileage from the fuel. Once I filled up here and went on my way, I basically needed to fuel up the next day. In my travels what would be a complete circuit for me, I used a half a tank of gas. Not great when I usually use much less than that. In the future, I will go elsewhere for fuel for my car, but I may end up stopping in for a quick item of fuel for myself.

Their team took it for a test drive to confirm the sound, inspected it, but did not find anything broken. They tightened a bolt that had become loose, but no other issues were present. The possible fix (~$2200) might not have addressed the "clunking" sound, so they recommended we have it checked at each oil change & tire rotation, and/or at the next milestone service (40k, 60k, etc.). Free of charge, didn't even charge me for the diagnostic. Clean waiting room, friendly staff. Would take my truck back to them when visiting my MiL, if truck repairs are needed.

I have been taking my 2 vehicles to this same Midas center for years. During my last visit in…read moreOctober 26 I took my one vehicle there for an oil change and a tire rotation which I waited while the service was being performed. The first thing that happened was they used the incorrect oil filter which caused it to dump every bit of the oil onto their garage floor as soon as they started the car. The next thing was after the mechanic cleaned up the oil he climbed into my vehicle with oil soaked covered shoes heavily covered and oil and leaving it everywhere. All over the mat and carpet. Not to mention oiled covered hands and oil over everything he touched. Finally when things were done and on my way home, my vehicle was making a very loud whining sound so I pulled off the side of the road to discover they never put the air cleaner cover back on. After this and when I got home to further clean up their mess, I found where I had 3 chrome caps that cover the lug nuts were missing along with another half dozen that were cracked due to them using a air impact wrench that was most definitely set to high. Finding this I did call them and they said that they would replace the lug nuts and would call when the order came in. Being several weeks I called them and now it's like they don't know anything about it or anything about ordering me new ones. So at this point after close to Ten Years of using them my go to place for 2 Vehicles, it needless to say I will never return to for service again. To think I replaced all of my lug nuts myself for approximately $20, they could have kept me as a 2 Vehicle customer if I would have gotten call backs and if they would have showed they want to make things right.

Prices here are a little lower than in other suburbs but on par with the nearby Speedway and the Getgo in Robinson where the former King's restaurants once stood. They also have a station set up for free air which is always a bonus in the event that dreaded light pops on in your car alerting you of low tire pressure. They said that the alternator was bad also, so we agreed to change that. We never got any update calls from them. We had to repeatedly call them again and again to get any information on the car and at what stage in the process it was. One of the times I called, they stated that the alternator in the Mazda was very rare and could only be bought at one place in the entire United States and that it would take a while to arrive. Never heard from them again after that. When I finally called to check up, they kept saying it wasn't here yet. When I spoke with a friend who used to work there and is still friends with them, he said that the part did come in and it was just sitting, and they said to the friend that they didn't have time for it. I had to keep calling to check up. They would always say whoever was working on my car wasn't in or wasn't available. I never got to speak to the owner like I had asked to repeatedly. Then they told me that the car was all put together, but that for it to pass inspection the battery had to run through certain cycles. They said they would get the car to where they needed it to be so they could pass it. Every time I would call, they would state that it wasn't cycled all the way through yet. Then one day when I called to check up, they stated that they actually don't offer that service and that we have to drive it ourselves. So we still had to pay a little over $1,300 and the car still needed to be taken to another mechanic in the area to be completed, it's a shame. Linda and Ralph play around in the office and don't relay the correct info, lie to the owner about everything. It's sad that the owner doesn't even know what's going on in his own office. Overall, we would never recommend this business. The front desk staff is extremely rude and they lie. I consider this company to be dishonest and not trustworthy. Don't take your vehicle here, you're honestly better off at any other mechanic in the area! I would give them zero stars if I could. It was that bad.
