I don't know the area so as I drive in circles for the nearest Oreo milkshake, it seems everything is closed where I would normally go in my own city. I see that a Sheetz is extremely busy so decide to opt for a gas station beverage of some type. When I enter I see tables and tons of people hanging out...yes at a gas station. Teens to adults laughing, eating, and drinking MILKSHAKES! I decide to go to the kiosk and see if they had an Oreo shake. Cookies and Cream appears and I order. I swear I didn't even get to car before it was almost half gone! It was the best milkshake I think I've had in a very long time. So skip the normal shake spots if you need a treat, head on over to Sheetz! DELICIOUS!

You can always find a Sheetz and they're pretty consistent with their service and offerings. If you drive a car that takes gas you can fill up there too. Definitely recommend! And the rate of which they are expanding into new locations and the region also tells you how popular and worthwhile they are.

Get Go is a gas-station and convenience-store chain that is owned by Giant Eagle grocery store…read more GetGo has hundreds of locations across several states. This particular location is in Robinson Township, and it is currently open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. My husband and I shopped in the convenience store to purchase snacks and beverages for a road trip. We found several items to purchase. Their prices were OK. The cashier correctly rang up our purchase. I would prefer that the store offer foods that are healthier. We did not use the gas pumps or the restrooms, and we did not order any made-to-order foods, so I cannot comment on their quality. The store contained some tables and chairs where customers could sit and eat. Tip: If you are a member of Giant Eagle's rewards program, then you can use your rewards to receive discounts on gas here.

You can also go upstairs to eat and it wasn't crowded with lots of tables.

MMM! Such good sandwiches!…read more I always enjoy eating at a local deli over going to a chain like Subway or something like that. This deli is a small little local shop with a bunch of sandwich choices, lunch meats, snacks, lottery, and tons of drink options. I've been here a few times and got a different sandwich each time and loved all of them! The bread is homemade local, delivered daily and they have other local dressings and breads as well. (Like a sweet pumpkin bread that I debated buying for about 10 minutes lol) If you are in the area and looking for a quick lunch I recommend here! They have specials every day and they are usually a dollar or two cheaper than a regular menu item but equally as delicious! I only wish they had a healthy item or two (like wheat bread). I don't eat here often because of this.

Who would have thought being flu season that there is a run on high dose flu shots! After visiting…read moremy neighborhood CVS pharmacy I inquired about the shot and learned that although they have the regular flu shot they were out of stock of the high dose one. The high dose flu shot is for people 65 and older and is covered by many health insurances because of age. I decided to call this location and sure enough they had just got two boxes of them in. I was planning on waiting until October to get mine but I thought I better not chance it. I drove over to this location which sits at a major intersection in McKees Rocks. I registered at the pharmacy and was told to wait until the private flu shot administration room had emptied out. After the people before me left a nice man named Dan was on hand to administer the vaccine. He told me that even though they had gotten a shipment in they were almost all out of them due to heavy demand. I was grateful to not only get the vaccine but also the age appropriate one. This CVS is one of the larger ones that service our area. The store is very clean and has a "minute clinic" if you need medical attention for certain criteria. Like all CVS, they honor the extracare card which will give you discounts and bounce back coupons at the register. Expect to pay more here than at your regular grocery store but that is the norm of all pharmacy stores. I was fortunate to find antibacterial hand soap which has been missing in the stores for a long time. It comes in a large bottle which you can section off for everyday use. They do have a drive through. They also do passport photos and will print photos if you wish to pick them up. In addition to home goods there is a limited supply of grocery items for sale and well as refrigerated items and business and medical items. Co-Vid 19 policies are in effect and they require masks. Sanitation is also done to insure safety. This location has a larger selection than the one I frequent so I may stop in here now and then whenever I'm looking for something that I can't find at my store.

When I say my man Dan (junior) knows Sheetz, I mean he knows Sheetz. We're talking connoisseur level! And even he ranks this spot in his all-time top ten, no question!! They've got MTOs, they've got F'real shakes, they've got everything you need and then some. At one point, Jr (my boy) considered franchising a location, but backed out.
