This place is so cool. I ended up here as a backup to where I was supposed to meet a friend for coffee. I only want to sit and chat with her for several hours - so my standards are not high. I did put some gas in my car while I was there - and the pump worked great. I think I even was able to get a receipt printed out from the pump - SHOCKER. Most places don't have that feature working and tell me to go in to the cashier for a copy - which defeats the convenience of pay at the pump. Anyways, I did want a coffee. And this is NOT your typical order at the counter situation. It was high tech and all done via that machine. SO MANY options to pick from. and clicking on the screen makes the issues of calories and cost seem irrelevant. I ended up with an expensive, calorie-laden treat. I LOVE sweats but it was actually too sweet for me. My bad. After you finish your order, you print out the receipt and take it to the counter to pay and have the drink made. I think it took about 5 minutes - not a rush since we were there for hours to talk. They do have tables to sit at. They also have food you can order. My drink was fine as was my friend's. We sat and chatted for almost 3 hours. At which time we both used the rest room before driving our separate ways home. Restrooms were clean and plenty of stalls. I highly recommend this Sheetz. I think there were other bells and whistles - not on the scale of Buc-EEs, but still more than your Speedway or BP. There is one not too far from me but not in a location I ever pass. I think they are also building one in our city. I would not hesitate to stop here for gas or coffee when I get a chance and it's convenient. As that's how I roll. read more

Dang, I am loving Sheetz. I noticed that my onboard battery was low so I parked next to one of the outlets in the lot and plugged in. A free Level 1 charger. Yeah, it takes a while but it's free electricity and that's okay with me. Inside, the convenience store is clean, well stocked and brightly lit. A very polite and clean young man rang up my purchase and thanked me for my business. What? Yes. Sheetz is a pretty big gasoline/convenience store based out of Pennsylvania. When I worked in Virginia, I would visit this chain passing through Pennsylvania on my way to Ohio to visit my folks. You can order food here it was a nice chain back then. So, when I saw this fairly new one in Ohio, I was interested in visiting it. It is off the Ohio route 71 Mount Gilead exit and I travel this route often. Arriving it was very busy. Lots of cars here and all of the pumps were full. I went in to take a bathroom break and get something to drink. First thing I noticed was the trash containers were full and needed emptied. I noticed this despite see a person with a Sheetz shirt I assume was an employee. I then went to get my drink. I got an orange slush drink, medium sized. Again trash containers were overflowing with cups and trash and need attending to. Also, the available straws were way to small for the medium sized cup. It smelled in there too like the floor needed mopping. I only saw one cashier working and it appeared like they needed more help. My assessment is they pay more attention to the cafe area where you pick up food than the counter where you pay for gas, snacks or drinks. They have touchpads where you can pay for food (basically a cashless system) and then a food counter where you can pickup your food. This is separate from the counter where you pay for gas. The cafe counter seemed to have plenty of employees but the store counter only one employee. I felt sorry for her, to be honest. She seemed overworked. I would not recommend going here again based on my experience. It is not the same experience I had from visiting Sheetz when I traveled through Pennsylvania, There are other nearby options and I would probably choose them over this. Not recommended. read more

A few of us went to the soft opening for Sheetz after receiving a mailed invite that promoted us to register for a spot. The food was free to promote community engagement while letting the staff get more practice. We ordered at a kiosk that had a large variety of options. I tried a personal cheese pizza, mozzarella sticks, and a caramel fudge brownie milkshake. She had a club sub, fries, and lemonade. The pizza was very greasy and ok. She said the sub was decent. A whole sub is actually 2 6-in subs, wrapped separately. The mozzarella sticks and fries were fine. The lemonade and milkshake tasted good, although the milkshake was very watery. According to the receipt the milkshake had a frappe in it so maybe in mine they forgot the ice cream. Also had ice chips so that was odd. I was told the normal chocolate milkshake was better and thicker. The building had multiple doors. It was clean and had a unique set up. There was a cash register for normal store items or something from the bakery display. The drink pick up area was adjacent to that then the food order/pick up was adjacent to that sort of like ,-' . Overall I felt the promo was nice. They have a good variety of food optiions. Gas station fare is typically lower quality than this. The donuts in the back were an unexpected twist. I normally wouldn't review gas station food, but I had such a nice experience here that I felt compelled to share it. The food is pretty basic and similar to any fast food. We went for breakfast and ordered two breakfast sandwiches on English muffins. Mine had cheddar and I didn't order any meat, and my husband ordered one with pepper Jack cheese and ham. I ordered through the app because I thought it would be easier. It was very easy, but when the order didn't show up, I figured I did something wrong. I showed the food service manager and she confirmed that I ordered from the wrong Sheetz. I wasn't sure what to do because I couldn't cancel it. She was so kind and understanding and helped us with a new order and expedited it. I'm so glad she was there. The food might be basic, but the staff is top notch. read more

I ordered a chicken burrito with peppers and onions, tomatoes, cheese, guacamole. The chicken was watered down, soggy and had zero taste. The peppers and onions were almost non existent. The guacamole had no flavor. I couldn't even eat half of it. It was disgusting. I also ordered a smaller burrito that had hamburger in it. The hamburger tasted like it had been sitting in water in a steam table for who knows how long. No flavor. I certainly don't expect a 5 star meal from Sheetz but I do expect something I can actually eat for the $16.00 I paid for the meal. That was my last trip there. read more

This Sheetz is always clean, the service is slow but doable, and the gas prices are amazing. However, the hiring situation doesn't make any sense. My husband has years of gas station experience, y'all had him fill out tax forms BEFORE his interview, and y'all have had hiring signs up since AT LEAST June 2023. Today, we saw a new sign for a hiring event coming up the week of the 18th. Yet my husband was declined a job with you, while you have signs that you so desperately need people. Your costumers can see you're clearly short staffed and need employees, yet you won't hire the people who have the experience needed for this job. Bullshit management if you ask me. read more
