Absolute scam. Avoid at all costs. We paid Sheetz Landscaping over $12,000 to redo our landscaping and it has been a disaster from day one. The plants they delivered were clearly nursery discards, diseased, weak, and nothing like what was promised. They looked terrible the moment they arrived, before they were even in the ground, and I immediately asked to have them swapped out for healthy ones. I was told they were "fine" and just "needed time" to bloom the following year, so they went ahead and planted them anyway. On top of that, the planting itself was done incorrectly. We followed their care instructions to the letter, watering schedule, feeding, everything exactly as they told us. A year later: out of 12 hydrangea bushes, maybe ONE flower on ONE bush. The rest aren't just bare, they're visibly diseased, shriveled, curling leaves, weak brittle stems, no sign of healthy new growth. The other plants look like overgrown weeds. Our yard looks significantly worse than before they touched it. During the sales pitch, they showed us a beautiful color rendering of what the finished landscaping would look like. What we got doesn't come close. Last summer I reached out to Debbie about all of this, and she assured me everything would bloom and look great this year, and that if it didn't, they would honor their warranty and replace the plants. Fast forward to this summer,- nothing bloomed, the hydrangeas are still diseased and shriveled and when I asked her to make it right, she came out, looked at everything, and said there was nothing they could do because the plants weren't "completely dead." When I pushed on why there were no blooms at all, she actually tried to claim deer ate them. This is completely false because we have cameras that record all animal activity in our yard, and there's zero footage of deer touching those bushes. On top of that, we have an established block of the exact same hydrangea variety just around the corner that is far more exposed and accessible to deer, and those bushes bloom beautifully every single year. It was a lazy excuse, and it says a lot that she'd rather make something up than admit their plants were bad from the start. She was dismissive and rude throughout, and it's now clear their warranty is essentially fake, a line they use to close the sale and stall you for a year. They also cut our internet cable while doing the planting and we had to deal with Comcast directly to have it rewired and burred which took weeks. Absolute mess. I included photos of what the hydrangea bushes looked like on delivery (tirst two) and what they look like now, a year later (third photo). To make it worse, we've since heard from multiple neighbors who had the exact same experience: thousands of dollars spent, dead/dying plants, and no follow-through on the warranty. My husband has tried repeatedly to reach the owner, Larry, by text and phone. He reads the messages (read receipts on) and never responds. If you're considering Sheetz Landscaping, don't. Save your money and your yard. I have no idea how they have positive reviews based on our experience and others in our neighborhood, they can't be real. read more

Thank you! I am unable to find the proper words to clearly describe how amazed we were with entire team of Sheetz Landscaping. The end result speaks for itself. We cannot believe that we live here! Not only is the end result absolutely gorgeous, but the process along the way was a great experience. We started planning our patio last year. Larry assisted us every step of the way. We had a lot of questions and Larry always made us feel at ease and informed. He met us at the stone store and guided us with picking out the right stone for us. The amount of information he was able to provide gained our trust and confidence before ever breaking ground. From the day the job started until completion, Larry and the guys continued to keep us informed with daily briefings of exactly what the plan was for the day and the coming days. The guys tidied up the front of the house every day. They never skipped a beat. This company does everything right for their clients-honest, informative, trustworthy, respect, quality is first class and the craftsmanship is impressive. We have worked with Sheetz Landscaping for 2 years now. We originally hired them for a patio in our backyard. My wife was pleased with the experience and I wanted a paver driveway. Then they completed a driveway for us. It is really really nice. We hang out in the driveway, sometimes more than the patio! Numerous cars stop and compliment on the driveway and we have met the entire subdivision because of that driveway. This year we had them redo our landscaping around the entire home. For the patio and driveway, we only had the chance to work with Larry but for the flowers and trees we worked with Debbie for her design expertise. She knew exactly what would work in Illinois. The landscaping at our house was starting to look tired. The patio was cracking and the plants were overgrown. We chose Sheetz Landscaping to do a total makeover of our front and backyard. We are thrilled with the results. The hardscape included a new patio with walls and columns with LED lighting, a new outdoor kitchen, and a garden for my wife's flowers. We also had them replace our sidewalks and entryway stoops. The driveway now has beautiful "ribboning" along the edges and an apron near the street. The plantings they selected were done with a short and long term plan to insure their lasting beauty. We couldn't be more proud of how the exterior of our house looks. We have worked with Sheetz Landscaping for over 18 years. I can't count the number of times Larry has come to the rescue. Sheetz Landscaping has completed large landscaping projects for us including design and installation of plants around an addition and a huge stone patio with stone walls for entertaining. The crew is fabulous on the large projects and their response is terrific in an emergency. When we had a large tree fall down into the road this winter, Larry was on the spot within an hour to clear the road. Prices are fair. Execution is superb. read more

They also completed a full design plan prior to beginning the project, which prevented any issues as the project proceeded. All deadlines were met.
