They don't leave a mess, do the spackling as needed, move whatever needs moving or removing and put it all back. We have had HORRIBLE painters at our house before and since we started using Zei Decorating, we don't even get other estimates anymore. I feel their rates are fair for the job they do.

We made the decision on a verbal estimate, and I wanted to get specifics before they came out. No date had been set, so I figured I had a little time available. I had repeated requests for the details, but was never given them. They arrived, one morning, with no warning and no specifics on what was being done for the price I was quoted. In fact, upon talking with the foreman, it seemed there was a miscommunication--we requested over-seeding the entire lawn. They planned to do only a couple of patches (including one area we did not want seeded, at all). And because I had no warning, I had already mowed my lawn two days previously (the four trash cans filled with grass were in my garage to prove it). My wife and I scrambled to pull up temporary fencing and take care of the dog piles, while I was on the phone with D&M trying to confirm what work would be done and at what price. We could have done any prep the night before, if we had some warning. On top of all this, I was now running late for a meeting. While my wife and I were in the back yard pulling up the fencing, the crew packed up all their equipment and DROVE OFF! No warning, no discussion, no phone call from D&M. Are you kidding me?! I left a message and called repeatedly throughout the day, but had no response. I can only assume they are not planning to return. BOTTOM LINE: This is a very unprofessional organization. First, I did not have a written estimate. Second, I had no indication of when they were arriving. Third, while trying to get the details straightened out with them, they DROVE OFF. It was a brutal winter and most of the grass did not come up in the spring. I called Ryco and they came out to my home, inspected the lawn and reseeded it without cost. It now looks great.
