It started with an estimate from Ryan Strelcheck I can only describe as incredibly detailed and easy to understand. I was kept informed of my place on their schedule and when the painting started they were here EVERY day (3) until completed. The same painters, Tony, Martin and Max were here start to finish starting promptly at 7AM and as quiet as a church mouse. During the day there was no loud music blaring and at the end of the day there was NO mess left behind. The workmanship was great as was the communication for the questions I had during the job. The great room had Venetian plaster applied 25 years ago. They had to sand all the walls to get them smooth. Their attention to detail preparing the walls, fixing drywall damage on walls and ceiling was impressive. They covered and protected all areas that would be at risk and sealed off rooms to contain any dust. We expected more dust, but they use vacuum systems with HEPA filters which minimized the dust. Finally applying the primer and paint was clean and neat. They left the work area clean every day. I highly recommend Epic Painting. We will have them back this summer for other projects.

They even "fixed" rooms, areas, which we attempted to paint and couldn't get the clean lines. Jeff and his team ensured the lines were clean. Jeff will also make color recommendations which really helped us ensure we were on track. We had many very positive and unsolicited remarks from both guests and people interested in our home about both the quality of the painting and the colors. In addition Jeff's crew refurbished our deck using the Behr product "Deck Over". They cleaned the deck, replaced boards, sunk poles in concrete which needed to be replaced for the stairs and it not only looks brand new but is super sturdy. I highly recommend this company and their pricing is reasonable! You can trust Jeff. Something you don't hear often from me about contractors.

Their estimate was fair and i just got a good vibe from Jose Quintanilla who I dealt with primarily. My instincts were spot on. They did the job as professional as you could hope for, not one splash of paint out of place. THe wood problem was worse than we thought once the wood was taken out (it was and I was told by my regular handyman this was probably the case that we'd find more issues as we removed wood); They dealt with this as no problem and the up charge on the additional work was more than fair as well. Terrific people, good communicators (we had a lot of rain delays, and Jose was on top of keeping me abreast of what they planned to do and when, I wasn't left to wonder when are they coming back...) and overall nice people to have around working on your house.

First came and power washed everything a few days before, then on first day of painting removed all old caulk and re-caulked, plus filled any holes. Gave everything 2 coats and on one part that was stain actually gave 3 coats. Original quote did not include foundation, soffit, gutters, front and rear stairs but Jose added those in at a reasonable price, so had those done too. Also painted chimney at no extra charge, On top of all this they completed the job in 2 days. Could tell from first time I had Jose come out to give me a quote he was very knowledgeable and passionate about his business and painting, which I really liked. From when we started contacting him there were several understandable delays (weather interfering with finishing preceding exterior job). However, once that was done and he had a start date with us, we had several last minute reschedulings. He texted to let us know that his personal life was interfering with his business and offered the deposit back. We gave him one last chance because he assured us it was resolved and sent us recent references. We had a new date, which came and went with no contact. This was the second week of October. We immediately requested our deposit back and cancelled the contract. It's now November and we haven't heard from him, haven't received our deposit, and are preparing paperwork for court to get our money back.
