Stopped here with my son for lunch while we were at his college tryout, and we were both decently impressed. We both ordered a chicken sandwich mainly because it was just something quick that we can grab and it wasn't too messy to eat while in the truck. Both of out chicken sandwiches were crispy well cooked, juicy and not dry and the bun was fresh. The only thing that they messed up was they gave me his spicy chicken sandwich and he got my regular one. The staff was very friendly and inviting and the store was nice and clean with a large selections of items you would expect in a convenience store. read more

To start, I don't have very high expectations for a gas station that makes sandwiches. But if you have been to a WaWa, which Sheetz appears to be mimicking, then you have a bar to be compared against. I ordered a hot steak sandwich with provolone, caramelized onions and Mayo. Take a look at the picture. Hardly any steak, they forgot the Mayo and it was cold and soggy. The provolone wasn't provolone, it was white American cheese and ummm, wasn't melted at all which gives you the clear indication you need for whether it was even warm or not. Not! (JIC) Paid close to $15 for this sandwich and tater tots. The one thing going for me other than the heart attack from the unhealthy lunch was that the tots were warm and crispy. But overall a bad eating experience-one which I won't repeat. Ever. Couldn't return because we were having a picnic and already settled at the park. Verdict: A Sheetz like any other. Wandered into this Sheetz in need of some quick and easy food. Their MTO setup is great when you like a little extra customization with your meal. I went with their sub, fries, and a drink special. The whole thing came in at a very reasonable price and the wait wasn't long at all. The food at a Sheetz will never blow you away but you'll also get something far better than the stereotypical gas station cuisine. The fries were crisp and the sub was exactly what I'd ordered; a transmogrification of a basic menu item. You can get any size drink with the special so you can pick the rediculously oversized cup if desired... because 'merica? Seriously, that thing is probably a full liter of liquid refreshment. This is one of my favorite sheets. They have a large store plenty of gas pumps and good parking. But I love their made to order food and their cold room for beverages. I think this is the first one I ever saw a whole room dedicated to keeping beverages cold. Excellent in the summertime. Make sure to get the app so you can score points and get deals. read more

For many years, I held the opinion that Wawa was the superior gas station chain in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. But then I started attending Millersville University, where there isn't a Wawa for miles. There I stood, a young boy who was just 18 years old. In a new town, surrounded by new faces and without his favorite gas station. Not to mention I was already $20,000 in debt thanks to my student loans, so you can can probably relate to the stress I was feeling. I had no choice but to venture into a Sheetz for the first time, and let me tell you, it changed me. As soon as I walked in, I was ambushed by a rush of air that blows in your face when you open the door. Beyond that, a new world was waiting for me. Boneless buffalo chicken bites. All-day breakfast. More ICEE flavors than you could ever imagine. These are the things Sheetz gives you that a Wawa fan could only dream of. One time, me and my roommates bought a chocolate football here. I'm talking about a full-sized pigskin, not one of those tiny candies they sell at other gas stations. We haven't taken it out of the package yet, and I doubt we ever will. That thing is like a trophy to us. However, if we were to open it up, I'm pretty certain that baby would be fit for regulation. To be quite honest, the NFL should make the switch. If they used chocolate footballs, those pesky Patriots would never have been able to deflate it. Yes, that group of cheaters would try, but they wouldn't be able to! (This is, of course, because the football is made of chocolate.) I've bonded with some of my closest friends over this Sheetz. On late weekend nights when all the parties have emptied out and the moon shines high in the sky, we sometimes find ourselves on an adventure here. Guided only by the stars and the voice on our GPS, we make our way to this establishment. We might not get anything more than a bucket of fries or a bottle of water, but that doesn't matter. You have to love the $6.00 nachos with extra cheese. If I'm paying an extra for the cheese you could at least pile it on especially if you get my order wrong. If you bring this to the attention of staff at ANY Sheetz location they say that you only get "4 oz" of cheese, FFS Sheetz how stingy of a company are you? Long lines with only one person on the register during busy times, even with 10 people waiting in line. I walked in to this place at 6:31 A.M. I wasn't out until 7:07. They made me late for work. The workers are slow and confused and I'd much rather have a monkey make my food. Maybe Sheetz could pay a little better so they could hire more intelligent people. I'd rather pay an extra 50 cents for my sandwich if it means I got it in a timely matter. But, I think I'll stick to wawa. I've never waited more than 5 minutes for anything there, even in the morning when it's busy. read more

My first experience at sheetz was terrible. I went there to get juul pods, and showed the man at the register my ID. He then asked if he could see me and my boyfriends ID. We handed him our ID's and he did not except my boyfriends. We asked him why. His reply was his license was not valid because you could not see his face. My boyfriend then showed him his college ID which had the same name and age as the license did. The man still would no except it. We were both of age, but he just did not even give us the time of day. I asked if I would still be able to purchase the pods he angrily said no. We then took our business else where. I love Sheetz in general but this is by far the worst one I've ever been to. It's always slow and always busy (which I don't mind if your staff is quick). Most of the staff is great when running the register; friendly and prompt. But those who are cooking the food are terribly slow. I normally stop on my way into work but lately I've decided not to because I know it's going to take too long and I'll be late. I recently stopped in and ordered an MTO food and a drink. Right after I had paid it starting getting really busy. There was 1 drink order ahead of mine and yet I stood there for 15 min waiting for my drink. After 6 people had gotten a drink I asked the gentleman who was calling numbers if my drink would be ready soon and he told me that there was someone making a drink and that it was probably mine. I knew it wasn't and said that to him but he completely blew me off and kept working. I went back up to him after 2 more drinks went out and told him that I was still waiting. I finally got my drink after 25 min of standing there waiting for it and by then my food was cold. This store needs someone working back with the food who is willing to take charge and manage effectively. I know when it gets busy the wait time will be longer but waiting for 20 minutes for a sub like I've done multiple times here, when there are only 2 people who ordered ahead of me is ridiculous. Every time I come here all of the employees are lazy and rude. The food takes forever to come out, I'm waiting for my mobile order as I type this. I've been waiting for one order of Mac and cheese bites for about 15 minutes now. The place isn't even crowded. Food/drink alarms keep going off in the food station and is very obnoxious. The last time I was here was at 2am last week, and my boyfriend ordered a milkshake. We heard the guy behind the counter sarcastically mutter "yeah let's get drinks at 2am!!!" It made us want to cancel our entire order and stop giving this Sheetz business because they do not deserve it. Employees here need to wake up and get their sh*t together!!!! read more

I just don't understand how they can charge so much for chicken tenders when I can spend the same amount somewhere else and get more for my money and better quality. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and the food is delicious. They have a wide selection of made-to-order items that's slowly expanding. Definitely recommend for both grab-and-go food runs and dine-in meals. Coffee and Hot chocolate is currently only available in one size but it's free and they allow you to get multiple cups of it. I was very excited to see a location open up in Millersville, Pa since I live right down the street. After last night's experience I am questioning going back. For being a brand new location I thought they would try a little bit harder. Last night my wife and I stopped in after a long day to get something quick to eat before going home around 11pm. We put our order in through MTO, a three pack chicken with a small french fries. When we got to the register the cashier was very unfriendly. Didnt greet us or even smile for that. I dont even think she said anything during the whole transaction. Just scanned out MTO receipt, paid, and she handed us the paid receipt, and not even have a good night. Then we had to wait OVER 20 minutes to get our food. And what really upsets me about the wait is we saw people that ordered after us leave way before us. Then to top it all off the french fries had so much salt on them we couldnt even stand to eat them and had to throw them out. I do not understand how so many things can go wrong in 1 visit from a location that should be trying to build customers. read more
