It's not easy to be excited after losing the last leg of a 4 leg parlay en route to picking your girlfriend up at the airport for an 11:15 flight that got delayed, but the delay turned out to be fortunate. I walked around this establishment to kill time, but finally decided on a grilled cheese and a chicken wrap. The chicken was on point, but the sauce, I want to say chipotle ranch, did not complement the chicken well. That's not a shot at Sheets. That was just bad decision making by me. The grilled Cheese was worth the wait! I was a little surprised there was only one homeless man outside, considering the quality of the grilled cheese. Good morning, I wanted to write about my visit at sheetz on Christmas Day. The staff were really kind and upbeat despite working the holidays. As a nurse, I understand the annoyance and frustration of working Christmas and I really appreciate their hard work as it was a busy day and my drink and breakfast burrito were very hot and fresh. I was traveling in the area and realized that I needed to stop for some refreshments. I look to the right, and there I saw a Sheetz illuminated in the distance. I decided to stop to get come coffee and some snacks. This location was one of the newer ones and it is very close to the Richmond international Airport. When went inside, I saw that this location offered hot coffee that featured freshly ground coffee beans with each cup. I had a few different offerings, but I settled on the 100% Colombian variety. The touchscreen was pretty easy to figure out the hardest part of the transaction was deciding whether or not I want a 20 ounce or 24 ounce cup. I opted for the larger size. The area around was very clean and it was well-maintained. After my coffee was brewed, I decided to try some of their international delight coffee creamers. The rest of the store offered a variety of snacks, cookies, and candy to quell the most finicky of traveler. They also has a fountain drink dispense with all types of Coke and Pepsi options. This location even had some frozen drink choices. They looked very refreshing. I noticed the area with the made to order food was very busy. People who were eating in the dining area looked very content with their food choices. Things smelled really good and I will have to come back to try the food. The staff was very nice and extremely pleasant. I was met with smiling faces eager to help and keep the line moving. I will be back. read more

I actually come to this sheetz all the time, rarely have a problem, but this time I have to say something. I don't know if their wings are frozen at first or not, but I do know that when I get them they shouldn't have a cold point in one leg section and nearly be totally uncooked on the others. I ordered food earlier this morning. The gentleman preparing the food was wearing gloves, but he never changed into a clean pair of gloves after touching various utensils, the brim of his hat, his ear with an Airpod in it and then going right back to preparing food items. The food manager (Tyler) was preparing my turkey sandwich today. He started to yawn above my food - wide mouth open; probably even had saliva drip down in my sandwich- gross I know! I asked for a refund but they had to get the manager and of course it was him, yes Tyler! I called him out on his disgusting, unhygienic, unprofessional behavior. The lady at the register was super friendly and understood my complaint as if she witnessed the same act from this manager. The front register counter area was sticky and not wiped down. Went through the drive thru today to order lunch. There were 5 cars ahead of me. 2 cars got out of line before we even ordered. I placed my order and waited over 30 minutes in the drive thru behind 2 other vehicles. 35 minutes after placing our order, we left. I don't know what was going on at the window but the one vehicle at the pickup window was there almost 30 minutes. The driver in front of me was taking a nap as we were waiting so long but he had already paid so he chose to stick it out. read more

The food came somewhat fast but the person making the milkshakes took a while. Ordered a oreo milkshake and waited 30 minutes. I tried to get a refund after 20 minutes but they said they needed their manager who was in the bathroom. Right before the manager was back the shake was done and I didn't feel like waiting longer so I took it and left. This is supposed to be fast food and i don't recommend coming to this location if you have plans after or want to get out fast because the workers take forever.
