As another yelper has written, there are few options available in this neck of the Allegheny's thick woods. So, thank you, Nittany MiniMart. After fueling up, we walked inside to what's a well-stocked convenience store that's fairly large, with the "Nittany Cafe" staring us in the face and good smells coming from its kitchen. Sometimes after a stressful experience, a bit of food and drink is what's needed to recover. Had a tasty turkey sammie combo, expertly made and toasted, and reasonably priced. The menu is pretty extensive, actually. There's 2 seating options: an inside dining area with good AC or outside, with picnic tables and umbrellas. But, they later go on to contradict themselves. We came here to finish up grabbing those items that we needed for the weekend. We had made multiple stops elsewhere and figured since we weren't able to snag them there, we'd have better luck getting them from here. Of course, that was true. Everything left on our list to get, was in house here. I also went off and did some browsing of my own. I like to hit the clearance section to see if there might be a steal. Most Walmarts have a centralized clearance section, but others have where a department might have an end cap that has their clearance. This store had a combination of the both. You just had to keep your eyes open and pay attention. Back to how my Dad and brother contradicted themselves. They had said that this store, even though smaller, carried everything they needed. While walking around grabbing the items we needed on the grocery side, my brother said something along the lines that he liked an item, but they didn't carry the brand they used to. Funny thing was, the item and brand of that item was literally right in front of us. Maybe they were out of it on their last visit, but I have no way of confirming that. At the end of grabbing everything, I opted for the self checkouts. I'd rather do that than having to wait and interact with anyone else.
