Not really impressed. I looked at a used vehicle, and the dashboard displayed a "Service Ride…read moreControl" message, so I asked if I could take the vehicle to my mechanic. Other dealers I have dealt with have allowed me to take a vehicle to my mechanic to be checked out, but Kuntz Motors wouldn't allow it. The sales person stated they used to do that, but it was a liability issue. In fairness, I was told I could bring my mechanic there, but my mechanic won't do that. This left me wondering whether it was truly a liability issue, or whether there was some other reason they wouldn't allow it. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing that vehicle.

He went out of his way to capture a 20 minute video of the full exterior and interior of the car, including a test drive so I could visualize the heads up display and other features that can only be appreciated "live." He pointed out every blemish and imperfection he could find. And he was forthright in calling attention to everything I might find or seem to think is out of place, even before I had that opportunity to question a few things I saw. The point was, he refused the idea of me finding anything at all wrong with the car (that hadn't already been identified) once I received delivery, even if it was a bug that might be mistaken for a paint chip. Finally, he worked out a deal to allow me to store the car there until I could find a reputable transport company to pick up my car. This sounds like an oxymoron, but I really did receive a thorough and honest evaluation of the car from Chris, who is ultimately a sales guy. Part of this may be because he is also the service manager and he knows and understands cars inside and out. But the others part is that A&L still offers the kind of customer service and integrity that used to exist "back in the day," yet may only still exist from smaller businesses such as theirs. Ultimately, a fall-out from the sale of my own car prevented me from buying the one I wanted from them. I will not hesitate to buy that same car here in the future once I get my other sold, and I encourage you as the reader to appreciate the exceptional experience you will receive if you consider purchasing a car or obtaining service or repairs from these guys.
