The entire staff was friendly and asking if we needed anything.Unfortunately it was major engine repair. He gave me some recommendations on what to do, and also let me leave the vehicle so it could be towed. I wanted to buy the shop lunch, and he said that was not necessary. He said this is how I would want my family to be treated if they were stuck. If I lived locally, this is where I would bring my vehicle for service.

Not really impressed. I looked at a used vehicle, and the dashboard displayed a "Service Ride…read moreControl" message, so I asked if I could take the vehicle to my mechanic. Other dealers I have dealt with have allowed me to take a vehicle to my mechanic to be checked out, but Kuntz Motors wouldn't allow it. The sales person stated they used to do that, but it was a liability issue. In fairness, I was told I could bring my mechanic there, but my mechanic won't do that. This left me wondering whether it was truly a liability issue, or whether there was some other reason they wouldn't allow it. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing that vehicle.

They walk you through exactly what they find before touching anything, and it's clear how detail oriented they are, down to the small stuff most shops skip. I have all the confidence in this shop to do things the right way. I took my car here as a last resort because nobody could break the year old outer tie rod end…read moreloose, they said they could. They called me later that day and said they couldn't either, which I didn't care about, tie rod ends are cheap so I ordered two new ones (they were going to have to destroy the current ones to take them off). Fast forward a day, they call and say that now they can't get the inner tie rod end to break loose from the adjusting sleeve. I still figure, whatever, things happen so I order new inners and new adjusting sleeves. I dropped it off Thursday night, just went and picked it up today (Monday). I was charged $300 for what I was told was "8 hours of labor that they were only charging me 4 for". The inner tie rod ends on my car are literally held in place with -one- bolt, and a bolt that's only a year old too, because they were also replaced less than a year ago. That wouldn't even be so bad, but the car still pulls pretty heavily to the left. I could probably call and drop it back off, but then I'm stuck without a car for the third time and I have a full work week ahead, so that isn't really an option. I guess that's lesson learned, maybe I'm just unlucky.
