Electronics department is garbage. Not helpful at all. Do the workers want us to see how they don't want to be there?

Stopped in here because I was in need of an item that I had forgotten about while out today. I…read morehonestly should have waited to stop at another location but went against my better judgement. First let's talk about the location of this store. It sits on a corner of a busy intersection. Not much in sense of street parking so a lot of people utilize the lot connected to the store. It is a mess. The lot is weirdly positioned and only allows for a small number of vehicles to fit in it at a time. The positioning also makes for a very hard maneuvering if you attempt to enter/exit at the same exact time as someone else. I was pulling into the lot while someone else was attempting to leave the lot. Because of how small this lot is this turned out to be a very difficult task with the risk of me being rear ended because a portion of my vehicle was still on the street. With this lot as well, like one other review points out, there is no capability to use a drive thru for the pharmacy. This makes the person have to park and walk into the store, not a bad thing, but give yourself a few more minutes when visiting here if you need to pick up medication. Inside the store is you run of the mill Rite Aid location. You know, that kind of bland "I'm in a drugstore" appeal to it. I walked around aimlessly for a bit until I found the item I needed. I then headed to the front to pay. When I walked in there were two associates at the registers chatting. When I came to pay, no one was to be found. This happens most times at a Rite Aid because those associates are responsible for stocking items on the shelves as well. When that happens those locations usually have a bell on the counter for you to ring and let the associate know a customer needs service. Not here. I waited in line for a good bit of time before an associate came up. I probably could have walked out of here with the item and just left and they wouldn't have known. I think that may have happened before. While standing there, I looked around the store to see if I could spot someone within the aisles, but I did not see anyone. After a few minutes and associate literally popped up from one of the aisles and came to wait on me. Customer service was good when they did make it to the register, but the wait is a little off putting.

The staff is one of the friendliest anywhere, and that includes those back at the pharmacy. Always…read morewilling to answer questions and help come up with a backup plan if they don't have something in stock or don't know the answer. The ONLY complaint I have, is the experience at the Drive-Thru is hit or miss. You always have to ring the bell to get someone to come over (even if there was another car in front of you being helped). Sometimes, it doesn't seem as though anyone hears the bell though. I've waited up to 10 minutes and rang the bell 3-5x before someone came over, and they seemed to think they were on top of things (as I said, they are super friendly, so I'd think they would acknowledge the wait if they were aware I had been waiting that long), so I'm guessing maybe the bell isn't a great alert system on the other side of the window...

ALDI - Aldi 'finds' has 3 sized of Pampers today

This Aldi's location is very much laid out like the one I shop at in RI. Fresh produce is right…read moreinside the door, dairy along the back wall, frozen food along the far wall. Plenty of snack items, pre-made foods, cereals, eggs, milk, meats, cheese, frozen foods, ice cream, water, juice, spices, coffee, etc. It's all here. I personally am not a fan of their brand of bread products - a bit dry, but their chocolate and ice cream - good stuff. I also like their seasonal buys. In winter it may be a blanket, stuffed animal or space heater. in summer it could be a fire pit, lantern or sprinkler toy. What ever it is, when it's gone, it's gone and you probably won't see it again, so check the flyer. The prices at Aldi are usually good. I always try to be aware of what an item generally costs, so I know if I'm getting a good deal. Store brand items are less money, but they also have national brands too. Some of the store brand items, like cheeses and jaffa cakes, are very tasty. Don't be afraid to try them. The Aldi's near me requires you put a quarter in the grocery cart to 'unlock' it. I keep a quarter in my car for this purpose. When you return the cart you get the same quarter back. It's all about saving you money, and if they are not paying someone to gather your carts from the parking lot, that means their overhead is less, and your costs are less. There are also no baggers, and no bags. You can purchase bags from the cashier if you'd like or bring your own. S/he will scan your groceries, and put them back into your cart. Once you pay, there is a shelf along the back wall where you can bag your own groceries, or just dump them into your trunk. Whatever. This may all seem very strange but these small differences are what allows the store the keep prices low. I haven't seen a 'self check out' at any Aldi's I've been to, and didn't notice if this one has one, but I don't think they offer this option. There are usually a couple of workers on the floor if you need help finding something. The store is well lit and clean, aisles are very wide and clearly labled. If you have't stopped in, give it a look. I recommend trying the ice cream.
