My husband says that they are the best-topped Sheetz dogs he's ever had (we drive out of our way a little to get them here). They stack up my sandwich quite nice and neat at this location. Sometimes, at other locations, they throw the toppings on all sloppy and with no consideration for portion misbalance (they'll put 2 olives on a sandwich but then 45 pickles). Not here! I think they actually care about the quality here. They've renovated this location in recent years. Lots of seating both inside and out. The store is located near the IUP campus so that must be a nice little place to stop for some midnight French fries or booze or whatever folks are into these days. This particular location is located in Jeannette, and it is open 24 hours per day. My husband and I needed to fill up the gas tank in our SUV with premium gasoline. A pump was available for our use, so we did not have to wait in a line of vehicles. The price of $4.999 per gallon was comparable to what other gas stations charge, and we experienced no waits or malfunctioning with the pump. Note: If you are a member of Giant Eagle's rewards program, then you can earn Perks here and later redeem them for discounts on gas and groceries. We did not use the convenience store or the GetGo Cafe, so I cannot comment on them.

To note it is at a very busy intersection on Route 30 in Jeannette. This sits between two red light intersections, on a busy day this can be quite a chore to get in and out of. With it being brand new the location has all the bells and whistles. The gas island is set off to one side of the lot making it fairly easy if you are just getting gas. There is also a free air spot for your tires. The store portion is pretty great. It has that industrial feel. It has all that you would expect to find when it comes to convenience. This location also has a fairly extensive selection of beer and wine. The hot prepared food section is rather nice looking. I cannot speak to the speed or quality of the food as I was just looking for a quick drink after fueling up my vehicle. One added bonus at this location is kind of hidden. Prior to this being a GetGo a PNC Bank sat at the location. PNC didn't completely go away. In the back right corner there sits a drive up ATM, brought to you by no other than PNC.

And if you pay close attention they are always near the local competition for western Pennsylvania, Sheetz. Speedway is basically Sheetz in just about every way. So if you have never been to a Speedway before but have been to a Sheetz, you already know what you are in for. Most of the same. Prepackaged snacks, coolers full of drinks, coffee bar with all the fixings and a place to order a quick meal to either take with you or eat in house in the small cafe section. This location is pretty new in the sense that it hasn't been open long. It is quite huge and can accommodate an onslaught of vehicles at any given time. Inside is nice and big as well. Customer service was alright, make sure you get their savings card, whatever the name of it is. The only thing I don't like about this place is the close proximity to the scenic hotel that has been there for years. All the sudden you now have a 24 hour gas station as a neighbor, get a room facing the other way now.

The place is normally reasonably clean, but not well-kept. As for the gas, no worries, but the policy where GE removes any leftover perk credits once you redeem and fill up is kinda "bah"...not a fan of that cheap move. Hence, 4 stars, not 5. Having said that, I always redeem my perks for 30 gallons, taking extra 5 gallon red cans. I got 30 gallons for $2.97 this time...so that's good enough to make me smile.

It is nice to have a full grocery store on this end of town close to Trafford and the developments off of Haymaker. Much nicer/easier than going to the grocery stores on the other end of Monroeville. The bakery is five star. Lots of delicious treats and they are fresh baked. When you go in in the morning, it has a delightful smell of fresh baked bread! Produce is almost always actually fresh, but make sure you check, especially things like strawberries. Staff is friendly and will help you look for things and answer questions. The one down side is that sometimes some of the cashiers are chatty which can slow things down. It is great to be personable, but sometimes you want to get through a line quickly because you are on the way to someplace else. The deli has a nice selection of meats and prepared foods (like pasta salad and potato salad) and the staff their is friendly and informative. Overall, the store is clean and overall well maintained. The biggest negative is that you really need to check expiration dates. They often still have stuff on their shelves that has expired.
