Let me tell you about the experience we had tonight. Went in here, we were the only 2 people in the entire store. I place a simple food order. Takes forever to get it. No one back there seems too eager to take care of it. Open the hot dogs and it's 100% wrong despite the order number being correct. 100% wrong. How did this happen when NO ONE ELSE ORDERED FOOD? This place has been terrible every time we are on 22, I should have known better. Next time I'll just go eat out of the trash at the dirty old Sunoco. read more

Too bad you can't give 0 Stars. I have been a Sheetz Fan since its inception as I covered Altoona and Duncansville for over 50 years in a Sales Profession. Still at it, I stopped at Sheetz #498 in Blairsville before heading north to Indiana. I ordered an English Muffin with cheese and egg along with a Bacon, Egg Croissant. The muffin was a soggy, untoasted mess. One bite and I threw it out. The Croissant is to be flaky and buttery, it to was microwaved to a powdery puff. Again, one bite and I pitched it all. I spent $48 on has and $10.60 on food. Actually not really food. As bad as McDonalds is, the Egg McMuffin is better than Sheets. I remember when Sheetz Started, they had great sandwiches. Now they lowered their quality and quantity, and serve rubbish. Charge a little more but get your standards back!! A real disappointment Sheetz Boys. read more

I ordered 3 hot dogs with mustard, onions and chili sauce. got back to my vehicle, opened the bag, there were 3 hot dogs with mustard and 2 small containers, one with onions one with sauce. so I had to put the hotdogs together setting in my truck, making a mess of everything. read more

This is like a mega Sheetz, everything you can think of a gas station/convenience store to have, this place has and then some. Sitting right along the highway outside of Blairsville, it's a great asset on a highway that has few options when it comes to fueling your vehicle. There are a multitude of gas pumps to choose from, they even have diesel here. Basically that means be careful in the lot at times. Semis and coal buckets frequent this place. Also another thing to look out for here is the drive thru. Yes, this is one of the few locations that have a drive thru to get your MTO. Inside it is huge as well. You could spend a good part of your day just trying to make the perfect match to your MTO of liking. Everything from the ordinary, such as soda, and then there is the odd pairings some like, such as frozen yogurt from their creamery. All in all, this is one of the best new Sheetz I have come upon. read more

This is the best Sheetz around this area! This station is a fair distance away from my home. I tend to stop here when traveling east up Route 22 toward Indiana or State College. None of the Sheetz around my area offer the same amenities. Access is fairly easy from Route 22. The pumps are spaced well enough from each other. The car wash is affordable and does a great job. The made-to-order food is served as quickly as possible. Of course, busy times such as early morning rush, lunch, and evening rush hours may take a little longer. There is a section to sit and eat your food. Or if you don't feel like getting out of your car, there is drive-through ordering available. I wish Sheetz would build a similar station along Route 30 East between Greensburg and Latrobe. read more

Headed south..the Sheetz next to Dunkin donuts: The soda was so over watered...it had no taste.Both Root Beer and Orange Crush...And the cheeseburger???Cold,3/4 inch off the bun and half the lettuce was on the paper.It looked like it had been dropped on from several freet above it. I mean we have Sheetz over in the Eastern PA but damn they are nothing like this one. There is a lot of everything here. Lots of gas pumps. Lots of soda choices. Lots of lines. (When you have no WaWa's to compete with I guess this is a byproduct.) Lots of stuff in general as the store itself is huge. But most impressively there is a drive thru window! I had never seen a Sheetz with one so while I waiting for some food I starting picking the shift manager's brain and he claimed that this is the only Sheetz in the chain with a drive thru but if it goes well they may build all future stores with one/retro fit where possible existing stores. Nice, clean and more or less quick. What else can you expect from a gas station/restaurant? read more

This is by far the best Sheetz I've been too! No joke. Stopped here for gas and a bite to eat. They have a section off of the gas station where you can sit and eat and they even have drive-thru service! Their bathrooms are clean and kept as well as the entire store. I ordered a turkey sandwich on a ciabatta roll, toasted with pepper, pepper jack cheese, jalapeño ranch, mixed greens, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers and red onions. It would've been better without the turkey. I'm not a huge fan of cold cuts. Everything else about the sandwich was tasty. I love that they have a different variety of breads to choose from and included ciabatta. The fries were crunchy but overly salted. If I'm ever back by this Sheetz I'll definitely be back :) read more

Typically I would never review a gas station/convenience store. However, this Sheetz.... is so AMAZING! It razzled and dazzled me from the second I walked in to the place. It has a creamery (like an ice-cream smorgasbord), milk shake bar, car wash, diesel fuel, and was SOOOOO clean. It seemed larger than usual and was well kept. Even the restrooms were immaculate. I loved the dining room with TVs for your viewing pleasure. The quesadilla I ordered for dinner was super messy and I didn't feel like cleaning lettuce out of my car for the next month. So instead of eating while driving... I sat down, enjoyed my meal, and watched some ESPN. My car was lettuce free and I had a much needed break from my 5 hour car ride. Hands down best Sheetz I've ever been to... quite frankly it's the Shitzzz. read more

Just added frozen yogurt! Blairsville is the test store for frozen yogurt and I got to taste it for free!. There are a wonderful array of toppings to put on your yogurt as well. At 49 cents an ounce, and open year round, it should make for interesting competition in Blairsville. read more

It's safe to say I visit a Sheetz at least once a week. This Sheetz in particular is one of my favorites. This Sheetz has everything! (And I do mean everything!) Frozen yogurt, huge variety of drink choices, every type of snack one could imagine, milkshakes, smoothies, lots of gas pumps, and a drive thru. The only reason I gave this review 4 stars instead of five was due to lack of staff. I visited this Sheetz mid afternoon on a weekday and waited about 8 minutes for my fruit smoothie. Usually, I don't have to wait quite so long for a smoothie, but I can attribute that to a staffing issue. Not enough employees to the amount of customers. That said, this is still one of my favorite Sheetz to visit! read more

Better tacos than the Taco Bell across the street to my tastes. The $2 meatball sub is also a long-time personal favorite. Friendly staff was able to keep up with business at lunchtime better than most locations on this visit. Like some of the new, expanded locations, this one sells beer and has a lounge to do some emergency internet work with free wi-fi or a place to watch a little TV for the long distance traveler needing a break from the highway. At the fuel island drivers have the choice of the Octane 88 Flex fuel (blue handle) or the ethanol (yellow handle) at some of the pumps which are not found at all locations. My Dodge Caravan runs fine on the 88, and it's usually 7-10 cents a gallon cheaper than the 87. There is also a slightly segregated area for diesel fuel for the big trucks. read more

Convenient for food gas cigarettes beverages. The food is great for hoagies hot or cold salads nachos deep fried. I normally do not eat French fries but i can't help myself with these. Add their nacho cheese sauce and I've felt I've died and gone to heaven. The fries are extra salty and depending, sometimes the cheese sauce is a little spicier than others. I personally like it better when it's not as spicy. But tastes great either way. And their hoagies and burgers r all made to order and are all delicious. Plus their iced lattes r amazing. read more
