It's not at all easy to pull into or out of. When we went inside I noticed they had a product called Yuengling's Ice Cream, which is apparently a Pennsylvania tradition. I looked this up, and The Yuengling family started a dairy business and began making ice cream in 1920, during Prohibition, to help support their family brewery. How cool is that?! So, even though this was just a gas station stop, I found an awesome product and learned something cool about the area! If you're driving through and need a stop this Sheetz is alright. Just be prepared for the parking lot.

Even though they did move, don't expect much to change. I do not mean that in a negative way. Everything you have come to know and love of Sheetz is still available. I swear I had in the…read morepast, but it was always an afterthought because when I see it, I usually am zooming past on Route 22. I suppose the whole reason I actually stopped here this time is because I was a passenger in the car. It is your run of the mill gas station if that is why you stopped in the first place. Hop out at one of the many pumps and do your thing. Pay at the pump, fuel up, and continue on. Inside, if you go in to use the convenience store portion of the building, it is just that. It is dimly lit, sparse on the items, and functions the best way that it knows how to. The interesting part about this is that Dunkin' takes up part of the space. That is another review, which I have already done. That might be the only downside to this. With Dunkin' being here, it can cause a bit of congestion with people using the drive thru. People just don't understand the flow of this place as you have a drive thru that adjoins the parking lot and pumping islands.

While on Route 30 there is not much choice of where to go, so when you come upon a gas station while you're nearing empty, you take the chance and stop. This Sunoco was a really welcomed sight along this stretch of road. Not much else is around and because of that it seems to be a very busy place among the locals. Gas prices were the norm for Pennsylvania. Inside they have all that you would expect from a convenience store and then some. That was welcomed to us since we wanted something to munch on for the rest of our trek towards Gettysburg. Staff were pleasant inside and accommodating.

Like someone else said before, this is not your typical gas station stop. Yes, gas is available if that is what your stop is consisting of. However, there are a lot of other things available at this place for total convenience when travelling across 22. Diesel is available for the bigger trucks at pumps specifically for them. Inside there is an array of prepackaged items to grab and go with. What I stopped for was a sit down lunch. They have the capabilities to make just about everything that any other fast food joint can. My parents in the past have tried the pizzas here and loved them. I was not in the mood for pizza and decided to get a good old fashioned hot dog or two. I went with two chili cheese dogs and fries. Decent sized dogs that were covered in chili and then smothered in cheese. One thing that I noticed they did differently from other places was that they toasted the buns. Kind of an ingenious idea, it holds the toppings better for a longer time. I was really eager to dig into my meal and underestimated how hot this would be. Not sure why I did that because as soon as it was done they brought it right to me. In my eagerness I burnt the roof of my mouth. But it was worth it, really it was. For gas station food, it really hit the spot.
