I suppose the whole reason I actually stopped here this time is because I was a passenger in the car. It is your run of the mill gas station if that is why you stopped in the first place. Hop out at one of the many pumps and do your thing. Pay at the pump, fuel up, and continue on. Inside, if you go in to use the convenience store portion of the building, it is just that. It is dimly lit, sparse on the items, and functions the best way that it knows how to. The interesting part about this is that Dunkin' takes up part of the space. That is another review, which I have already done. That might be the only downside to this. With Dunkin' being here, it can cause a bit of congestion with people using the drive thru. People just don't understand the flow of this place as you have a drive thru that adjoins the parking lot and pumping islands.

Now just allow me to share some facts that prompted me to write this rather lengthy review; 1. Throughout the entire repair process I was informed with progress reports either daily or eod. 2. I knew the integrity of the man behind the scene. 3. I watch the videos Ron does on post repairs from other facilities and his willingness to fight insurance companies for your right to a proper repair. 4. The ratings from past customers. I'm glad I chose Professional Autobody because of the many dealerships I've been to can not hold a candle to the level of customer satisfaction I received at Professional Autobody. Ron has done an excellent job working with his team of employees that assure you of an upmost level of reassuring that customer satisfaction is of the highest priority. My vehicle looks like it's brand new again. The bodymen, the painters, the foreman, and Dawn have exceeded my expectations of what I had visions of a long distance nightmare. I just can't thank Ron Peretta and his wonderful team enough for removing any anxiety, fear,nervousness, and frustration from my mind during this repair process. That, my friends, is exactly how you describe this place. I walked in, looked around for a bit, kind of took in the vibe of this place. The shelves and coolers are stocked nicely. Carrying a variety of convenience type items, kind of what you expect from a place like this. But when I couldn't find the one item I needed, something that would be carried in any other gas station, I was let down. The explanation I got was that there is not enough demand in the area to warrant them carrying the item. Asides from the item let down, this place is still pretty decent. They have a small deli counter area where it appears that they make sandwiches and pizza. They have about two booths inside to eat if you prefer to stick around. My brother was driving and needed to get gas while we were in the area. He actually went out of his way to come here. Odd, but I understand, I have done in the past. Upon arrival I was told this was an old Sheetz location, which is weird. I'll tell you why it is weird, because when Sheetz moves on from a location they will not sale to what would be considered a competitor, especially in their home town. But maybe this one slipped through the cracks. I guess you can say that this is your typical convenience store. Like 7-Eleven, but with a local twist. Gas prices were the norm for the area. Selection inside was a bit of a surprise.

They have changed a few things about this spot, some for the better, some for the worse. The one huge improvement they have made is the fact that you can now pay at the pump. Prior to the changeover you had to guess-timate how much gas your car would take. Under shoot that amount and you don't get a full tank. Over shoot that amount and you had to walk back in for a refund of the difference. I was so happy to see this change as it reduced the amount of time I had to spend getting gas. Another change is that they have an expanded menu of made to order food. I cannot speak of the food as I have never had a chance to partake in any of it. I only know of this because of the bright-as-the-sun new sign they have out front. It nearly blinds you with the announcement of the deals for the day. Huge, huge negative here, the gas. I'm not sure where they get their gas from, but it is not the best out there. For me, travelling is a big part of my day, and I usually depend on a good gasoline. You think that you are getting a good deal here as it is usually the cheapest gas around for a while. Always a few cents cheaper than the Sunoco up the street, and nearly ten cents cheaper than any other gas station around. But, to me, this is a facade. I filled my gas tank up and headed on my way. Usually when I do this I can make my round trip to work and back on a little over an eighth of a tank of gas. However the day I stopped here, it took a half of tank of gas for the same travel. There were no side trips, no detours, just the same route I take daily for work. I doubt I will stop here again unless I am made aware of a change is gasoline supplier. If I am going to throw money away, I can find better places to do so rather than a gas station.

Your typical looking DG out there, that generic looking brown on brown building that looks like it was put up in less than a day. Parking is abundant. From the size of the outside of the store you can already tell that it is going to be small on the inside. Inside the aisles are narrow which means if two people want to shop the same aisle they are going to have to take turns. This location was less cluttered as the other locations I have been to. Don't get me wrong, there were still carts on the floor with merchandise that needed to go on the shelves, but not as many. Surprisingly, the carts aside, this place was well organized, staffed, and stocked. Easy in and out if you already know what you are looking for and where to find it. If you don't, don't worry, take your time.

Now that you have Giant Eagle taking over, it's all the GetGo brand. Access to this particular location is a breeze if you are heading westbound on 22; however, heading east on 22, it is almost impossible to cross the highway to enter their property. So do be careful, or just go the extra feet up to the light and do a U-turn. I would say this is an easy in and out store, but with them just taking over the building and not remodeling or tearing down and building anew, it is set up a little differently.
