    Lamb and beef kabobs

Great food and service. So much yumminess. Love the lamb and beef kabobs and the two sauces. Definitely have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Many great options. I got a beef/lamb gyro wrap. In other places it has more meat, but the wrap was not awful. It was tasty, but not very tasty to me. Seemed a bit dry and again lacking protein. I also ordered some chicken kabobs. Again, dry and the sauce on it was somewhat oily. Staff is very nice and ambiance looked nice, but I had my food to go, so I did not dine in. I would not mind giving it another shot in the future if I am in the area but trying something else from their menu. However, if I had other options this would not be the first option for me to go to. Especially for the price and the food lacking quantity and quality.

This spot is like a chipotle for Mediterranean food. You build your own and they have sides. I ordered the falafel wrap with chick peas and spinach. Portion sizes are great. My husband's order came out wrong. It was supposed to be all rice no sides. We immediately said something and the guy brought out a separate side of rice and asked if any other issues. Food was delicious but it does take a few minutes to prepare it is not immediate like similar spots.

Delicious!! The gyro was amazing and the spinach and chickpeas were as well!! The chicken wrap was also amazingly delicious!! The steak kabobs were divine and so were the kubideh kabobs!! We ordered through DoorDash and it arrived quickly! We will most definitely order from here again!!

First time at Sheesh. Large dining area, clean and inviting. We could use the self serve kiosk or there was someone there to help us. I ordered the chicken kabobs over basmati rice with sautéed spinach, chopped salad and side salad. All was delicious and flavorful. Plenty for 2 meals!

Lots of indoor and some outdoor seating! I order the beef kubideh and mantu and waited about 15-20 minutes which I don't mind at all if it means the food is fresh! Beef kubideh - 3.5/5 nicely seasoned, lots of flavor, pretty moist and soft! Liked it a lot and while the rice was cooked well I wish it had more flavor. The salad and fries were disappointing. The chickpea salad was average Mantu - 3/5 I wish they had a smaller version of this since there was way too many dumplings to eat with another entree but they were pretty unique and good! The skin was soft and not too thick, meat seasoned nicely and heavy on the chickpea flavor

I had recently come here with a friend for a dinner get-together, and the dining experience was disappointing, compared to my previous visits. I did a build-your-own, in which I chose the Steak Kabob over basmati rice, with a side of chickpeas and fries. The steak was not flavorful and juicy as I remember it being - it was overcooked, stringy, and extremely chewy; the chickpeas were super bland and in this watery tomato-like sauce; the amount of rice given was just way too much, and I feel that this place does this a filler. The fries, on the other hand, were hot and crispy, but they were over-salted. I just feel the price you pay is just not worth the quality of the food you receive, considering that the bulk of the portion comes from the rice, and the proteins could have been prepared and grilled better. Service is friendly, and there's also a good amount of people for the lunch or the dinner rush. Not sure what happened to their lemonade drinks, but they didn't have it available when we went, which was sad! There are plenty of tables, but the place should do a better job wiping down the surfaces and the seats, as we had to get extra napkins to wipe them down ourselves. Plenty of parking in the shared plaza lot. +dried out, stringy proteins +bland or overly salted sides +friendly staff +plenty of parking in large plaza lot

Cauliflower Shawarma with salad, rice, spinach and grilled vegetables

5 stars in one of the best vegetarian dishes I've ever tasted in this area. Yeah I was a person who ordered the Cauliflower Shawarma so you didn't have to, LOL. It was so flavorful and nutritious, and I didn't feel bad eating them afterwards and undo the workout I just did at Hotworx next door.

If you are looking to taste home cooked Authentic Middle-eastern food, I would highly recommend to give this place a try. We ordered vegetarian dumplings aka "Mantu"-made with lentil and seasoning and dressed with delicious yogurt base sauce, chicken kabobs-fresh and juicy chicken breast cubs cooked on a grill to perfection, served with side of mixed greens, rice and chickpeas. Service: when we entered it seems family owned. They have a very homely feel to the whole place. They took the time to explain each dish to me. Everything was cooked to order and super flavorful. Highly recommended

I am quite impressed! I didn't plan to come, I just walked by and was hungry. I'm glad I stopped in. The ambiance was great, very relaxing environment! The man at the register was smiling as I walked in. It was quite welcoming. The food was something I've never had before... I got the Beef and Lamb Gyro platter and it was fantastic! I would definitely come back! Thanks!

It was disheartening to read the low reviews that some have left of this place, because I can assure you they are not representative at all of this restaurant. Everything from the food down to the ambiance of the restaurant is 10/10. It's decently sized and a great place to bring friends or family who have not tried this unique Asian cuisine. There was a burger and chips option but when I requested it they told me that just don't have it. No reason why. They don't have plastic cups for kids either. We ended up getting the beef noodle soup, a noodle dish with beef and a few lamb and chicken kebabs. The beef noodle soup had no flavor / it tasted like water with chillies. The beef noodles were over cooked and needed salt or something. The lamb kebabs were chewy and the chicken kebabs were way too spicy. The wait time for the food took 30 minutes and while I am pretty patient - it was not worth the wait. The servers were non- existent and I had to constantly ask for napkins, water, take away boxes. The only time I saw them Was when I called them to order and then called to pay. They should not work in the service industry as a smile goes along way but clearly they hate customers. There was just no attempt to be nice at all and they were not very accommodating with questions. Let me not even get started on the bathroom. It was dirty and there was no loo paper. Give this place a skip. It's just not worth the time and the money you will spend there.

The puri arrived hot and perfectly puffed--golden, light, and crunchy on the outside, yet soft enough to soak up every bit of flavor. Then came the Punjabi murg chole, and that's where the magic really happened. The chicken was tender and deeply seasoned, not overpowering, but rich with warmth and spice. Paired with the chickpeas, it created a hearty, comforting balance--earthy, savory, and incredibly satisfying. We all know halwa puri with chole is a classic. It's nostalgic, it's comforting, it's expected. But adding Punjabi-style chicken into the mix? That took the entire experience to another level. The chicken didn't compete with the chole--it elevated it. Every bite with puri felt intentional, layered, and indulgent. This wasn't just breakfast or brunch--it was a vibe. A bold twist on tradition that felt rooted yet exciting. If halwa puri is comfort food, then halwa puri with Punjabi murg chole is comfort food that decided to show up dressed sharp and confident. Ali, Raoul, and the spectacular staff of Ocean8 for created a superb dining experience & introduction to exotic Ugyhur & Afghan cuisine. The staff and people we met there and dined with were very kind & gracious towards us. It was our first experience with Uyghur and Afghan cuisine and food we never had. All of the food was highly delicious. We had appetizers, dinner, and desserts in a buffet style. Servers came to our table and provided cups of ice and canned / bottled drinks of water and soda to us. The manager, Raoul, went from table to table to talk and provide assistance to us and all of the guests. Despite the huge crowd of diners, the staff were very professional and made sure all the guests needs were met. The appetizers we sampled were the: *Turkish Cheese Rolls The Star of all the appetizers. We loved the rich, lush, and creamy flavor. It was ideal to eat this appetizer first before sampling the other appetizers. ( Crispy, thin pastry rolls filled with creamy feta cheese and fresh parsley, lightly fried to perfection - reminiscent of the Italian version of a mozzarella stick) * Punjabi Samosa This appetizer gave an intense punch of flavor & spice in the first bite. It was the spiciest, unique, & most memorable flavor among all the appetizers served. ( A Punjabi Samosa is a crispy, golden pastry filled with a spiced blend of potatoes, peas, and aromatic herbs. Deep-fried to perfection and served with tangy tamarind and zesty mint chutneys. A classic North Indian street food favorite. * Uyghur Samosa Very easy to eat, delicious, and reminded me of a hand held version of chicken pot pie. My least favorite yet still a good appetizer. ( It is a breaded appetizer filled with seasoned minced beef and onions, topped with sesame seeds. ) This was the last appetizer I ate, and it reminded me of an Asian & Arabic smaller version of a chicken pot pie. Very tasty. ) * Afghan Homestyle Bolani I love how it was mildly flavored with spice and it was like an Afghan version of a quesadilla. ( An Afghan Bolani is a crispy, stuffed potato flatbread from Afghanistan filled with potatoes, green onion, chili peppers, and fresh herbs. It's pan fried until golden brown and crispy then cut into wedges.) * Garden Salad - A fresh and vibrant mix of cucumber, tomato, onions, and peppers. Dinner was Uyghur Pilaf Rice, Lamb chops, Uyghur Lamb Shish Kebab , a meatloaf like burger with an onion filling inside it, Ocean8 Chicken Chops, and Cacık Yogurt. The dinner entrees had more spice and intense flavors than the appetizers. My favorite entree was the lamb chop especially when eaten with the side of Uyghur pilaf rice and the cacik yogurt. The other meat dishes were superb in their flavor, spices, and presentation as well. Cacik, pronounced ja-jik is a Turkish yogurt and cucumber dish that's very common in almost all regions in Turkey. It was my favorite side & condiment to combine with the rice and dinner entrees. It reminded me of raita, and I ate the cacik with my dinner entrees the way I would eat raita. Raita is a classic Indian side dish made with cool, creamy yogurt, crisp cucumber, onions, and fresh herbs. It's a flavorful way to balance out the bold, spicy flavors of Indian food. We ordered two takeouts of the dessert we wanted to try at home after eating so much at the restaurant - the Tiramisu Cake. It was light, airy, and melted in your mouth - dessert perfection in taste and texture. I usually skip dessert but I could resist not trying this dessert. Overall, we were very highly satisfied and grateful for our dining experience at Ocean 8. We look forward to having future food experiences there.
