She really put in work and was very detailed. I felt so pampered! I asked for partial foil for hair 5-8 past shoulders-baby highlights and icy blonde. Brownee herself is so personable, sweet and considerate. She was upfront on pricing-I haven't experienced that before from other companies. She was honest, didn't oversell, and wasn't pushy which is something that deters me. I felt at ease in her chair. She truly is a professional and knows what she's doing! A minute later a woman walked up to front desk and did not greet us in any way. 5 mins later she says "come on back ." Doesn't introduce herself, doesn't even try to come off as friendly, doesn't ask me or my son what we are looking to have done. I show her a photo for inspiration and asked if she could do it. Nothing at all special, just shorter on sides, similar to a fade. Maybe this salon isn't the place for this style haircut, which is why I showed it to her to make sure she was comfortable with it. I said maybe we start off longer and can go shorter, she didn't respond. I sat down as I don't like to hover during haircuts. Next thing I know she is at the front desk with my son, didn't even call me back to see if it was acceptable before he got out of the chair. Of course, it was NOT acceptable. Not only is it NOTHING like the photo shown, the back was brought up EXTREMELY AND EMBARRASSINGLY high! And CROOKED. Clearly the neck hair down further had not been trimmed either. I mentioned the severely crooked line and she grabbed her trimmer and I said it's already too high but needs to be straight. She proceeded to cut it even higher to straighten it out. Still nothing with neck hair. I couldn't even speak to ask her to cut neck hair for fear that I would lose it. I had the neck hair trimmed by my husband when we got home. Do not go here, do not see Jamel for a kids cut unless you want your kid to be self conscious. She said two words to my son. Worst experience ever among my 4 boys who have been getting cuts for 18 years. Shame on me for giving this place a shot when our normal place was booked. Wish I didn't have to even give one star to get this message out.

My hair stylist was very nice but my experience did not meet my expectations. The color is still 2 toned so you can see the grow out color :/ i'll have to get it redone to actually be one color so it was a waste of money. I also noticed when i got home she cut layers uneven.. my left side has layers & the right side does not(which is embarrassing since you can tell when styling my hair). I'm not sure if she just wasn't paying enough attention to compare the 2 sides and make sure everything was even but it was upsetting once i got back home and it was pointed out to me. Overall i will not be going back to this salon(or at least not to the stylist i had). Hope no one else has these issues.

I was told the service took the same amount of time, which I understand; however, only one color was added while my existing blonde was left as-is. Although it initially looked fine, once my haircut was completed, all of the blonde was cut out. Given that Kali knew I was also getting a haircut, I expected more of the blonde to be preserved. When I expressed concern, I was told there was no time to correct the issue, so I scheduled a correction with another stylist. When I returned to the salon, the environment felt uncomfortable and awkward. Kali was present but did not acknowledge me, and I was never made aware of who the manager was. Overall, the experience was disappointing, especially as I was always punctual and consistently tipped at least 20%, including for the correction. I could not wait to leave. The total cost was $232 (including tip) for a retouch with no highlights, despite being charged for them, plus $141 for the correction--$373 total. I ultimately left with brunette hair, which was not my expectation. I did go to Salon Adagio for the correction with Olivia, and I was very happy with the results. I love this woman! I've had a few massages in my time, but I will never go to anyone else now. She "reads" my body so well and always gives me what I need to feel better. These guys are all great - I love their personalities - and they keep me coming back. Prices are reasonable for what you get - if you want cheap, go to Great Clips - and I am always greeted w/ the utmost courtesy and friendliness. I was going to be taking the place of a client who had last-minute canceled on a stylist named Heidi. The consultation time with her was very short. She asked very minimal questions, but I was told by the lady at the front desk that she was "very good" so I trusted her. However, I was wrong to do so. The overall experience at the salon was pretty pleasant. She made good conversation with me and I was provided with water. I walked out of the salon pretty happy with my results. I thought that my bangs were a little bit short, but I didn't mind that much since that happens almost every time I go in to get a touch up knot my bangs. mind u i barely have bangs they are basically long curtain bangs that i like to have because i wear my hair up a lot and i like the look. anyway, day goes by I have a headband in because I was doing chores all day. I come home take my headband off and am shocked. I was left with choppy, uneven, way too short bangs. I am not sure how she was able to style them so I couldn't tell when I left the salon, but it's safe to say I will be stuck wearing that very same headband until these grow out to a reasonable length so that I can fix them and they won't be too short. Safe to say this is one of the worst touchups I have ever had and that I will forever be scared to go back into any salon and ask them to touch my bangs ever again. I'm sad to leave, I don't like doing this. This place was recommended by my mom, she saw a different stylist who wasn't available this day , not sure if it would've been a better decision to wait the next day she would be in work or if I should've never came into the salon at all. I was hoping this would be a much better experience, considering their prices are very reasonable and it was a pretty quick cut. But sadly, I have learned my lesson and will probably stick to cutting my own hair despite being FAR from a professional.

I enjoyed it and the salon's prices are very reasonable. However my time was hardly relaxing thanks to the way the salon is set up. The room where the esthetician works is just around the corner from the front reception desk. All the conversations from the desk were easy to hear. In addition the bathroom is right next door and you can hear the toilet flushing. The spa waiting room has 2 seats and is open to the salon. Yesterday there was a man who sat there the whole time talking on his cell phone. He was taking up a space that someone getting spa services could use, plus he was loud enough to hear during the facial. This set up is poor, and there are no seats by the receptionist in the salon, so anyone coming in waits in the small spa area. The salon could greatly improve by making a few modifications to their setup. For me, one of the perks of a spa treatment is relaxing afterwards. There was certainly none of that at Salon Adagio. Too bad, but I doubt if I'll come back.
