She really put in work and was very detailed. I felt so pampered! I asked for partial foil for hair 5-8 past shoulders-baby highlights and icy blonde. Brownee herself is so personable, sweet and considerate. She was upfront on pricing-I haven't experienced that before from other companies. She was honest, didn't oversell, and wasn't pushy which is something that deters me. I felt at ease in her chair. She truly is a professional and knows what she's doing! Terrible service from start to finish. Walked in 15 mins prior to appt for kids cut and was told…read morethey would be right with us. A minute later a woman walked up to front desk and did not greet us in any way. 5 mins later she says "come on back ." Doesn't introduce herself, doesn't even try to come off as friendly, doesn't ask me or my son what we are looking to have done. I show her a photo for inspiration and asked if she could do it. Nothing at all special, just shorter on sides, similar to a fade. Maybe this salon isn't the place for this style haircut, which is why I showed it to her to make sure she was comfortable with it. I said maybe we start off longer and can go shorter, she didn't respond. I sat down as I don't like to hover during haircuts. Next thing I know she is at the front desk with my son, didn't even call me back to see if it was acceptable before he got out of the chair. Of course, it was NOT acceptable. Not only is it NOTHING like the photo shown, the back was brought up EXTREMELY AND EMBARRASSINGLY high! And CROOKED. Clearly the neck hair down further had not been trimmed either. I mentioned the severely crooked line and she grabbed her trimmer and I said it's already too high but needs to be straight. She proceeded to cut it even higher to straighten it out. Still nothing with neck hair. I couldn't even speak to ask her to cut neck hair for fear that I would lose it. I had the neck hair trimmed by my husband when we got home. Do not go here, do not see Jamel for a kids cut unless you want your kid to be self conscious. She said two words to my son. Worst experience ever among my 4 boys who have been getting cuts for 18 years. Shame on me for giving this place a shot when our normal place was booked. Wish I didn't have to even give one star to get this message out.

I've had hair tinsel before at another location and this was not my experience.
