I've been seeing Jill for about 10 years now and I've always been happy with the results. Please note: I have curly hair and keep a basic cut with layers, NO BANGS! So I can't do those fad styles like The Rachel or an inverted bob. Facial waxing services are also offered. I used to get my eye brows waxed after the shampoo/conditioner. Affordable....however I switched to European Wax Center just because it's less painful. Not due to poor skills. I can style my own hair day to day, but when I want a curly updo I make sure I make an appointment. One updo pic is done by Jill. The other is my Laura L. **Be a responsible customer no matter where you go or who you see. Communication is key. I always bring pictures of the style, cut or color I want.

She makes sure that you can sustain your hair goals and that they're realistic for how you live your life and the frequency in which you want to be seen. I recommend her to all. Her studio is also very comfortable and cute. I have been doing balayage going light in the summer and dark in the winter with medium long hair. I have naturally black curly hair. I am a client of Tina Schilling. IG: @distinctivehairdesignbytina…read more I followed her when she joined RK Salon in June. She's been a hair stylist for years. She's always trying to stay up to date on trends. Finding someone who knows their way around curls (cutting and coloring curl clumps) is rare and she is fantastic. She gives a great scalp massage during your shampoo which is...WOW! I also value her knowledge around products. She points me in the right directions with tips and tricks with shampoos, conditioners and styling products. Even learned about cowashing. Curl knowledge is even changing and following Tina on Instagram helps too. She's fun too. And has a wicked sense of humor. She's interested in you as a person, wanting to get to know about your life. Don't be surprised it you find yourself laughing in her chair. I am reviewing during COVID 19. In her salon, all staff and clients were in masks the entire time. First going the Deva Curl/ Curly Girl method route. Then during the height of the pandemic and out of boredom/insanity I decided to bleach my hair and do fun colors. However it destroyed my curls. She is so educated on what you need to do to get your hair right. And if you stick to it you'll start to see life go back into your hair. Plus you'll have a good time while you're in her chair. I'm forever grateful for what she's done to get my hair healthy again and I'm seeing my curls come back!

I love it! It is super quiet and relaxing. The last salon I went to was one big open room which at times was really loud. Getting my hair done is finally what it should be....relaxing and ME time. She is open to being fun and doing new things to your hair. Life is short....live life to the fullest! Another great thing about having your own space is you can decorate your room to fit your personality. Mallory has elephants, Buddha's and Ganesh in her space....it is a happy place. We have a lot in common and I look forward to seeing her again in July.
