I sent the owner a message and still haven't head back so I am leaving this for the public to be aware of SHEA. I had a very bad experience with Shea on thursday. 1/25/2018 I have went to her in the past and she did my hair fine. I wanted to take my daughter to her and have her try her out. From the beginning we told her we wanted to have her hair lightened. I told her over and over she does not want or like highlights, we go in at 345 and wait for her to be done with someone else dying her hair. so when we go over we show her a picture of how my daughter wants her hair to end up looking. She suggest highlights again. we tell her no because she doesn't want the strip look. We show her what we don't want and she said oh no it won't look like that I will do highlights close together. I tell her whatever it takes to get her hair lighter fine and as long as it doesn't look like highlights, she said it won't. We talked to her about what was put in m daughter hair several months ago and that the dye on top was not permanent and done few months ago explained what kind was used and all. SO i leave my daughter there and come back about a half hour later and Shea starts to say how my daughter has so much hair and that she needs to be done by 6pm to go home to her son. Its 440 at this time and only part of her hair was done. I didn't say anything and then she said she discussed with my daughter that she won't blow dry it and they were going to braid it instead. we are there doing her hair and shea says she has already used 4 scoops of bleach on my daughters hair and she is giving us a good deal. I never asked for a deal. So we finish up and she is rushing to rinse out and puts I believe a root lifter on her and my daughter tells her it is burning, Shay said can you take it for a few minutes? so she did. She braids my daughters hair and we leave well the next day in the AM her hair is Stuck to the rubber band she put in with her braid and my daughters hair is breaking of, major spots major strips in the front(as we had said from the beginning we didn't want and promised it wouldn't turn out that way) I message her to telling her and she tells me that she thought it would blend better and its more of a color correction and way more work than what she expected and she will work on the top of her hair because her hair was fried. It was not fried when she went in there. Then tells me she shouldn't have even touched her hair with all the stuff shes done to it. and anywhere else would have charged $300. And that by the time she is done with her hair it will end up costing her money to do her hair. I told her she has a wedding she is in on Sat and she tells me she will have to wear her hair up. After I told her I would of paid 300 for it to be done right and it wasn't breaking prior to her getting her hair done, she then said it had a lot of blotchy spots in it and 5 different colors. If this was the case why didn't she tell us this and tell us she can't do it and it would fry her hair and leave spots. then told me she can't go from brown to platinum in one day/ Which we were aware of, and never asked for that its a process and all she wanted o do was get it started and get to where she was. Then she tells me even if we paid 300 we wouldn't have gotten what we wanted. This is what happened. She was in a rush to get to her son. if she didn't feel comfortable doing it why didn't she tell us? why didn't she say any of that the blotchy spot are where she put bleach and obviously missed those spots. I have all the text leading up to this. she offered a deep conditioner for free. and said she does highlights all day long and it because the product in her hair and the reason the roots didn't lift is because there was color on them. I am not the stylist I am the client I trusted her and we told her what was put on her hair prior to doing it. After i told her to just refund the money she said no and that we need to deep condition the hair and be patient I told her she damaged it and shouldn't be doing hair. she tells me it didn't happen due to highlights it happened because I think I am a hair dresser and I destroyed it. then she tells me to take her to court and see who wins. and then told me to go back to hemet and stop harassing her or she is calling the cops. This really set me off now. Instead of taking responsibility of what she messed up on and blaming us she is the one who was rushed to pick up her son. I would really like to show you my daughters hair and these text.. This is not professional. I went to her in this salon and didn't get good service or anything close to what we wanted. I spontaneously decided to get my hair done. As it had been awhile, after moving to a new place I'm always hesitant towards finding a new stylist for my hair. I have blonde hair that had its roots growing out and was once an light brown/blonde ombre turned to a golden ombre that didn't match too much with my complexion. I walked in an hour and a half before closing and asked if Shear Nirvana had any time to do a cut and color. Out walked Mindy and I am so thankful she was there that night! She guided my confusion of what to do with my hair and found a middle ground between all of my ideas. It was well past closing by the time she was done and she still made sure I was happy at every step. She blow dried, straightened and styled my hair to exactly how I wanted it. She is a phenomenal hair stylist and I am so glad I found her! For highlights and lowlights it was 95 and a bonus haircut for first timers which was free! I went to go see the owner Heather so she could put some color in my hair. I liked it at first at the salon when my hair was curled, but when I got home I could see how uneven everything was. My boyfriend could immediately see all of the spots that she overlooked. I had multiple one to three inch pieces of just blonde that she had missed, one of them right in the front of my face!! I really don't know how someone can be professional and miss so many pieces of hair. She tried to tell me it was fading when I confronted her about it and the fact that one side of my hair has A LOT more color than the other. How does that make any sense?? I washed my hair once, with cold water, and I use color safe shampoos and conditioner, that also doesn't account for the fact that one side has A LOT more color than the other. I tried saying that I didn't get what I paid for and she told me that "well it took like three hours" Okay? I didn't pay for the time, I thought that I was paying for my hair to get done professionally and it was really anything but that. She rushed through the end of dying my hair and I could tell because she passed me over to an assistant and started working on someone else and that's obviously why she missed so many chunks of hair. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had and I really am just telling everyone I know about the horrible service I received. This was a complete and total waste of money for me and it honestly just has me feeling horrible too. She ruined my hair and I have to deal with it everyday until I manage to have enough money to fix what she did and it's literally the worst read more

I took my 4.5 year old daughter to see Heather at Shear Nirvana after hearing wonderful things about the salon. We've been growing out her hair since birth with the intention of donating it someday so needless to say we were very particular about where to take her. Heather was very sweet to our fidgety girl and made her feel very calm and comfortable. She also knew exactly how to prepare and cut her hair in order to meet the donation requirements. In the end, we now have a wonderful gift for a child in need that will be shipped off in the morning to Wigs For Kids and the Childhood Leukemia Foundation, AND an absolutely adorable new Do for our princess. WARNING! For one I do not have anything against the salon. I was treated very well by the receptionist. It has been since May of 2013 I went to this salon. I came in on a weekend last min because I had booked a appt somewhere else the stylist never showed up. I went looking around town...for someone that can do my hair that day. I was very impatient and fed up with my hair no being touched up. I'm quit loud and made it very clear that I had some damage to my hair. And I came in with a whole of head highlights. LONG hair to my waist that ive always had since I was a child. Ive made very clear over and over that i was having a hard time finding a stylist that wont damage my hair. I was very grateful that they squeeze me in at 4pm on a Saturday.The 20 years stylist Rebeka Defrancesco fried my hair to no ends!!! I had WHOLES in my hair! chunks and chunks fall outs !!! I wanted a hombre and she said she had experience doing it obviously not! she dyed the top part of my hair dark and bottom was skunk white.(impossible to go work). She left me under the dyer and forgot about me for 45 min, because too busy doing cutting extensions for a client friend of hers. Here where it gets better she blamed me for this and screaming (trying to intimidate me)at me when the salon was empty 9pm trying to fix the disaster she did to me . That I never told her that I had previous damage . You have to be very STUPID not to tell that I came in with whole head of chunky highlights and me telling her over and over that had 2 current bad experiences.Accused me of using sun in?? what hell is that ? I came home and googled it. A experienced cosmologist would known from the start. I know why, my best friend is one for 17yrs. If i could fly cross country I would of have her do my hair I would. I came home screaming nonstop crying. I had no choice to cut my hair to ear length. I hate my hair, I hate looking at my self in the mirror with wanting to cry I'm just very depressed.
