We brought in cute Winona Ryder 90's pixie reference pics and she absolutely nailed it! Just the cutest haircut. Nadine herself is warm, personable and very talented. She goes above and beyond in her haircuts and it shows. I had a very grown out lob and she gave me the cutest choppy short bob. I have naturally curly hair (and so does she) so she understand how to cut curly hair. Prices are very reasonable for this type of quality haircuts. Deborah is my forever hairstylist from now on! I have fine curly hair and was told by a stylist at another salon that I don't have enough hair for a shag cut. I was super disappointed and honestly, felt a little bummed out that my hair couldn't handle my cool girl cut of choice. Side note-I have curly hair that I took a year off straightening after damaging it from excessive flatironing. Then, I was paired up with Deborah! I think the other stylist was wonderful, but just had a few years of experience compared to Deborah, who has decades of experience. Deborah knew EXACTLY what to do with my hair and gave me the coolest shag cut that went BEYOND my expectations, hopes and dreams. She even styled it curly and straight to help me understand how to do make it look cute at home and maintain the health of my hair. CUSTOMER LOYALTY MEANS NOTHING TO THEM!! DO NOT GO HERE!! I have been coming to this salon on and off for 10 years and regularly for the past 5. I was most recently in for a vivid purple color, two weeks after my appointment the purple turned to blue. I called and explained this to the receptionist after I had read on their website that if there is a problem to let them know. They were unwilling to do anything aside from offer to CHARGE ME for a new service. I have had vivid purple multiple times from this same salon and stylist, taken care of it the same way and it has never turned blue. Vivid color fades but NOT TO A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COLOR. This little heaven is in the parking lot of Target/starbucks, there is also a UFC gym right across the street. Victoria took SUCH GOOD CARE OF ME! Whoever your stylist is, you can be sure to trust your hair with them. Everyone that was at that salon walked out with amazing hair! It gave me so much inspiration. My #1 concern was I needed someone who knew how to take care of my sensitive curls. I have very coarse thick hair (Black and Mexican) and I didn't want to have crazy damage or awkward highlights (I came with my hair curly). But I was in store for a treat with Victoria. She is the sweetest hair stylist I have ever met and makes the day feel like it was created for you. Everyone here is so welcoming and polite and follows all procedures to ensure that safety is the number one priority (tied with customer service, of course!) they even gave out a little tip book with coupons after my first visit. This is the second time I came back to Anasa hair studio, this time It was for my daughter Luna. She was looking for a short haircut, Bob meets pixie. My kid has curly hair, so when I made the appointment, I specifically asked for someone who knew how to cut curly hair to make we got it right. Our hair stylist was really nice, I showed her a picture of what my kid was looking for, but I did say; I want to still make sure I can grab her hair in a ponytail, because she will get frustrated after awhile. I trusted her eith not going too short. My son, who has Downs, agreed to get his haircut next door and took him over. About 10 minutes or so came back , she had already cut her hair too short in the front, now remember my kid has curly hair so when I saw how short it looked after it curled I was frustrated, but I kept calm for my daughter . Hairstylist did looked nervous don't know if she's a newbie or not, but she sure looked like she was. I could not leave without letting her know about it, still calm but frustrated. I still left her a tip because she still did cut my kids hair. It is a good place to go to, but make sure you give them an explicit explanation of what you want for your kids. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this salon. In search of a studio with stylists specializing in Ouidad services, I found this shop. I'm very particular about who cuts and treats my natural, Afro-curly hair, but had practically given up. And then, I booked an appointment with Jessica. Jessica is a Level-3 Creative Designer, which means she has extensive experience. She's a white girl (I mention this because I've had bad experiences with white stylists in the past), but she really took the time to get to know me, my preferences, and my hair. Now, my curls look amazing. I trusted Jessica enough to take off a little more than she'd originally planned. In all, I got the Ouidad Carve & Slice, Deep Treatment, and Rake and Shake. It was definitely worth the $135. I wish the deep treatment had been a little longer, but I think that may be a Ouidad thing. Anyway, I'd definitely recommend Jessica and this place for curlies. read more

My daughter went in today (April 28th) at 10:30am to get her hair done for prom. She showed up with her hair already washed and blow dried straight. Falicia curled my daughter's hair and grabbed two strands of hair and pinned it. Falicia charged my daughter $75 and when my daughter asked why she is being charged for an updo even though she didn't get an updo done, falicia said that because she still had to curl it, flatiron the top and pin it. Thats a basic wash and style so $35 NOT $75 plus the $15 tip she gave you. My 18 year old was completely taken advantage of. I'm disputing the charges via my credit card and definitely going to spread the word on how this business is a crock. Update: Credit card company agrees with me so I will go forward with the dispute. My daughter told Falicia that she would either have her do an updo or have her hair down. The price falicia quoted my daughter is for an updo. An updo was not what my daughter got. Danielle from The Loft salon does a much better job and doesn't rip people off. I wish she would have listen to me and gone to her. Her friend went to Danielle and all I can say is wow. PS. My daughter had no idea she was being ripped off as she lacks experience. It was once she got home that I realized she was taken advantage of. My daughter definitely liked the $35 hairstyle she received but shouldn't have paid a $75 price tag. Oh and my daughter's hair is straight and doesn't have thick hair. Your hairdresser only flatiron her roots. Your hairdresser only spent 35 minutes and that's including the time they spent talking about what it is my daughter wanted done. Your manger was going to look at the cameras to see if Falicia was lying about flat ironing my daughters entire hair. Still waiting to hear back from her. Really disappointed!! I've been going to this salon for several years and never experienced anything like this.. I went in with very long weighed down hair and told my stylist I wanted some more body to my hair, so we discussed it and agreed on layers and curtain bangs- I also had a treatment done to help with my frizz.. I left the salon thinking it was weird she styled my bangs straight but she explained that the treatment makes it hard to style since the hair is kinda stiff and to not wash it for 2 days, no problem! However even after I've washed it my hair is looking horrendous. The bangs are impossible to style with how short and uneven they are, and completely not curtain bangs at all (I've searched on google for pictures of curtain bangs and this is not even close to what you see) and I was never even asked how long I wanted the bangs before she just cut all my hair off... not to mention the layers! So choppy!! I understand I don't have a lot of hair to work with and it's really fine but I walked out of the salon and spent $200 and not even the cut was done nicely. So many things to rave about here! Atmosphere is very professional, clean and pleasant. When you come in, you fill out a hair information sheet - your hair type, what you'd like done at the appointment, etc. And are offered a beverage - coffee, tea or water. My hair stylist was Jimena. She was so sweet! She felt like a friend instantly. She listened to my hair needs and we got started. The wash station is darker than the rest of the salon and calming music is played. Warm wash clothes are used for your neck and roots. The wash was my favorite part because Jimena literally massaged my scalp for what felt like 10 mins. It was so relaxing and I didn't want to get up!! I got a head massage/shampoo wash, a trim, some thinning out of my hair, a blow dry and great conversation with Jimena for $39!
