She is very professional and was very helpful with what I wanted. She was very friendly and very pleasant to talk too. She gave me the best haircut I have had for awhile. I went from a long grown out bob to a very short bob. I thought it was going to be difficult to do myself but because it was such a great cut it is very simply and quick to do my hair. Dani was so incredibly nice and sweet! I had scheduled for an appointment next Thursday (today's Saturday), but I was added to the call list in case someone cancelled. I managed to get an appointment at 11:30am. I've been here several times, but it was my first time getting a cut from Dani. If you're having doubts, don't. This place a fantastic. It's clean and well kept, most importantly, the folks here makes you feel not out of place. I've been to different salons and have walked out because the vibe was just not there. I've never had my hair colored professionally and made an appointment a couple of weeks in advance. Everything was great the phone calls and email follow up to make sure that I had what I need. When I finally went in, Nugget made me feel so welcomed. I probably told her my life story by the end of the 4 hours I was there. Everything was super, I even fell asleep a few times as I was waiting for the lightener to be ready. I had a great time and the time really flew by even though I wasn't doing anything. My hair is fabulous. I love it so so much and can't stop looking at it. I was honestly really impressed! I went to a different salon to go from dark brown almost black to blonde but the results weren't great. There was still so much orange and brassiness. They didn't seem to care for my hair as much as Nugget from Shear did. My hair went from a super orangey color to a very well toned ash blonde ombré baby highlight effects that I'm in awwh with. If there's anything you should know about me, it's that first impressions really do last a long while -- that initial experience will either leave a bitter taste or a nice and sweet one. Didn't help the fact that I have been going to the same stylist for the last three - four years. Though, I am mostly driven by skepticism and cynicism about most hair salon these days, which didn't help my last experience with the most recent one, this was changed with my first-time experience here today. I met with Daniela(?), I hope I spelled her name correctly... She booked me for an appointment and immediately asked me what I was (roughly) looking for: hair color, etc... I explained and gave her my idea but due to the price, I was a bit reluctant to make a complete decision. When I finally came in for my appointment and met Daniela for the first time, she was so warm and friendly and I felt at ease. I felt even more relieved when she was completely understanding with how I changed my mind about my first choice. I explained the price range and she worked with me -- no snide or snarky comments, she was accepting and understanding. With the amount of questions I had with hair, she had no issues answering and providing tips and suggestions... Believe me, I felt like I bombarded her with tons of those. What really topped it off for me and my overall experience with her was when she was happy to accommodate a few of my requests. That's what I call awesome customer service! Made an appointment two weeks in advance because the Saturday I had originally wanted to come in was already booked...make your appointments ahead of time ladies and gents!! When I came in, I only had to wait about five minutes before I was helped by Daniela. I sat down and showed her what I wanted and she was very descriptive in what she would do. I wanted to cut my hair pretty short (shoulder length) but even then I didn't think I had enough hair to donate. However, Daniela assured me that I would be able to if I wanted, so of course I did! She went ahead and chopped off a good amount of hair to donate and then completed the rest of her work within 20 minutes. I was happy with the results and she even taught me how to style my short hair! I was also offered their stamp card for future purchases! She really listens to what I request for and magically makes it happen. She's sooo good at what she does, all I have to do is show her a photo of what I want and she will make it happen.
