She's been afraid to get it cut but she did want a little trim because of her upcoming prom. Unfortunately I got stuck at work and my husband had to take her. So I do blame myself but I told her to very specific with the stylist. I even had an appointment with the same person a couple weeks ago and talked about my daughter's fear of losing length. According to my daughter she agreed to the 2 inches of dead straight hair on the bottom but was very clear about not wanting to lose length all over. The woman took at least 3 or 4 inches off all over her head. Hair that came to her elbows now barely falls past her shoulders and what's worse is that it is uneven. The right side is very noticeably longer than the left side. If she didn't understand curly hair, she should have said something. Maybe she didn't like my daughter or thought she was wrong to express what she wanted and decided to teach her a lesson. Now she doesn't even want to go to the prom. We can't get the hair back and I have to pay somebody else to fix it. We will never go back again.

I am a dude, so my haircut is usually simple and quick. I don't make an appointment, I just walk in and ask if anyone has time to cut my hair. And they do! Sometimes I will get my eyebrows waxed - they do it all! I appreciate the personnel are always smiling and polite and after I get my haircut, everyone that knows me compliments what a good job the salon did on my hair. I don't have any pictures to post - at least for now - I mean the folks on the internet reading this don't need to see my haircut... but the salon is very professional looking: bright, clean, with a variety of stations, and plenty of products on display. As a mens haircut, I didn't expect it to take almost 2 hours and have such an awful result! Every part of my hair is extremely uneven and a large chunk of my nape (back hairline) was cut out and now I have to wait for my hair to grow back in before it can even look somewhat even. My stylist was named Bri I believe. Now I have to find a new stylist soon so that they can at least try to fix this or make it look even somewhat presentable to walk around with. I hate to leave a bad review at a local place as I try to support local businesses but this haircut honestly shocked me at how bad it is. My husband and I had booked our wedding reception at Renault Winery and being that we live 2.5 hours away from the vineyard, I had to find a hairdresser in the area that would be willing to travel to the vineyard (on a holiday weekend) to do hair and makeup for my wedding. I went to visit Emily at the salon in January, 2017 for a hair and makeup trial and she does fabulous work. She is extremely meticulous and precise with everything. My makeup looked flawless as did my hair! She is very accommodating and willing to do whatever I asked. I knew right then and there that she would be the one to join me in making me look all glamorous on my special day.. Emily arrived right on time the day of the wedding and did my hair/makeup, along with two others hair style. She is friendly, personable, and just perfect at what she does. She knows how to have fun and make you feel comfortable while still remaining professional. Emily, I wish I lived closer as I would come to you for all my hair needs.
