I got a hair cut yesterday and they were super nice. I loved the hair cut performed by Steve. He did a good job. Due to COVID you have to call when you go in and they will take your temp. Then sanitize you're hands and sit down with your barber. I felt super comfortable going there with everything going on. Thank you for the cut! read more

My husband and I checked out this barbershop after I checked out a review on this site actually. My husband was in DIRE need of a haircut. He went to another barbershop but his barber quit and he was back at square one, trying to find a decent non ghetto barber in the city of Vineland, which at times seems near impossible. My husband tried the Dugout. The first time it was fine. The second time, the barbers were unprofessional and insulted him, thinking that he didn't hear them, but he did. They were making fun of his hair because it was crazy at the time (duh, that's why he's there..for a haircut) so our options were running low. After I read the review on Yelp, we decided to check it out. Could it be? A professional barbershop nearby? YES! This place was excellent. It was busy and we had to wait since we didn't have appointment, but we didn't mind. We sat in comfortable leather seats and watched television on a nice flat screen. They offered us water and made us comfortable. When it was my husband's turn to get his haircut, a guy named Nestor cut his hair. He was very friendly and professional. He gave my husband an excellent haircut and exactly what he was looking for. The atmosphere was professional and exactly what we were looking for as well. Overall, we found a new barbershop and had an excellent experience here. So if you're looking for a great barbershop, this is the place to go. read more

Whelp I was a walk-in to get my hair cut. I was the only walk in at the time. After sitting there for twenty minutes, they were taking their appointments up to a half hour early leaving the walk-ins to sit. At that point I asked how much longer and was advised 10-15-to an hour longer wait, it all depends how how many appointments are Scheduled for the day. That was some answer! If you are going to push off the walk-ins, please advise the customer upfront. read more

When I first moved into the area I struggled finding a family friendly barber shop and this meets the quota. No conversation or behavior there that will make you feel uncomfortable. Although they are very busy, when I call ahead they try to do the best in getting me in with the least wait. I'm very picky when it comes to customer service, but I'm not going to hesitate in giving them a 5 star review. My boys and I went to this barbershop to get fresh cuts for my wedding on the 19th of September. I found this barbershop off of yelp about two weeks prior and choose to call to make an appointment for us at that time. When we arrived the staff was very friendly and made sure to show you attention right away. As they started cutting our hair we mentioned we were here for my wedding haircuts and the staff made sure to give us extra attention and the results were exactly what we had pictured if not better. I'd highly recommend checking this place out at least once. I plan on coming back every time I'm in the area and want an awesome cut. I meet Larry and he is a very tuned in barber with a vast experience...he followed my instructions to the "T" my haircut was perfect and took his time to trimmed my beard perfectly. If you happen to live in Vineland then it's a good spot to get a haircut. However, haircuts tend to be a little inconsistent. I've given them plenty of chances bc I happen to work in the area. I recall having a lot of product in my hair and one of the barbers insisted he cut my hair with it in there.....lazy. So if you happen to live in the area, definitely check them out....if you don't....go elsewhere for sure. read more

I sought out a much more local barber to shave my beard. I was pleased with the service. The guy nicked me a little. I think the water should have been a bit warmer. I was pleased, however. I will return soon as I am due for a haircut. This is a man's barber shop. It seems to be attached to a salon, but I am not certain how that works. I started stopping here on my way home from work when I noticed the sign one night. I decided to stop in since I was starting to look like Wolf-man Jack. It has a great barbershop atmosphere, they gave me a great haircut, and I've been going there ever since. Best haircut you can get in Vineland and South Jersey. They know how to properly fade and take their time to make sure you look great. I'm a repeat customer that will always come back. I've recommended this place to everyone I know and they love it also. All haircuts I have gotten have been consistent. My advice if they aren't is to directly tell them what you want. You can also just simply ask "can you straight razor my hair line or side burns". They're always happy to accommodate you and give you what you want and need! I've always gone to the same barber since I was a kid. But moving to Cumberland County made the drive too much. I stumbled upon Lorenzos about a year ago and they are as close to that old throw back feel that I had at my old barber. Not only do I get a great cut consistently, but they are great with my young boys (6 & 4) as well. I tend to visit Larry mostly, but Ruth and Nestor have never disappointed either. Been there 3 times now, came out 3 times satisfied, first time Larry cut my hair, took his time actually listened to what I wanted and instead of zipping through actually stopped along the cut to ask how it looked, I told him I was very happy but wanted to give each barber/ stylist a chance to see the differences, next two times I had Nestor and I barely had to explain what I wanted and he was point on! One thing I do when I go to a new place is watch how each stylist cuts and treats the customer, I cannot stand a barber who hears but doesn't listen, not here every cut I witnessed was precise, everyone from the stylists , the owner to the receptionist were more than pleasant! read more
