I visited this salon today for the first time. Honestly, I just needed to try a new salon. My hair was a mess, very long and damaged. I had not had my haircut in a super long time and needed some help with some low maintenance color options. The salon itself is very "low stress". It doesn't give off your typical salon vibe. It is comfortable and everyone there made me feel like I was at home while still maintaining a professional atmosphere. Jess helped me get the perfect cut. She really listened to what I wanted, while providing helpful tips. She didn't cut it too short, and the style is amazing. I can't say enough about the cut itself. It is PERFECT!! She also helped me pick out two great colors for some peek-a-boo highlights. They look so natural! It added crazy dimension to my thin hair. I ended up making friends with both of the other stylists working and saw the work they both did on other customers while I was the shop and.... WOW. These ladies know what they're doing!! I highly recommend this place! Everyone is super friendly and local to the area. I will be back here, and I won't wait so long before my next cut. i have been wanting to get my hair dyed for a while now and when i got it i was initially very happy and in love with the hair but after a week i went ahead and showered, almost all of the purple turned blue and the blue is patchy, on the ends, a couple streaks. i am now embarrassed to be seen with my hair. Paid for microblading package (procedure and touch up 6 weeks later). From the time I paid and had the procedure done the woman that initially did my eyebrows left the salon. I was not partially refunded or offered the touch up service. I told by the salon the retouch was the responsibility of the prior employee... even though I "paid the salon" as noted in my credit card stmt. I'm pretty disappointed by their customer service. read more

I really wanted to not feel compelled to share my experience, however after my supposed fix I have to. I went in and asked for a silver highlights. I asked the stylist to be honest and she said she could do it. I paid about $150 and ended up with yellow highlights. Her main concern was that she did nothing wrong, not that my hair looked nothing like I wanted. She did say we could do a procedure to remove all impurities and try again. She did not charge for the toner that did not take. However, she made a decision to just cut the V off the back of my hair and not trim the bad ends on the rest of my hair and she charged me for a full haircut. I contacted the owner and she said I could come in and they would fix the color at no charge. When I came back in another hairdresser stayed right her and me as she worked. She treated me as though I was a problem. She did not introduce herself or ask if she could touch my hair, she just did it. It was extremely uncomfortable. They put 2 toners on my hair that did not take and I paid another $45 for hair that looks nothing like what I asked for. I have consulted 2 hairdresser's that both say she did not lift my color enough to take the toners. I was made to feel like I had done something wrong and sent out the door with "well there you go". I would not recommend this Salon to anyone. read more

I had the BEST haircut and 2-tone frost yesterday! My very fine, chin-length hair was perfectly cut into a perfect pixie. Her eye for color changed my graying blonde hair such that my skin color looks so much livelier. All of this magic (and it really was) was done by Stacey. I found her to be a talented hair specialist. She is also has a Devo (?) training certificate, Devo being the super skill of choice for those of us with curly hair. I came here about six months ago for a trim, and they did a good job for a good price. Today I took both my daughters for haircuts, great job. Jessica cut both of them, and she was awesome. This was my first time here, since the gal that usually cut my hair had left her employer. Having to make an appointment, I expected to see many people in the chairs when I arrived, but the place was empty save for 2 operators - one on the phone and the other approaching me. (She was my appointment.) She seemed nice enough, shared a few personal things with me which I thought was inappropriate, but did a great job on my hair. However, during the haircut I was wearing my new mask (cost me $15) and instead of asking me to remove it around my ears, she trimmed my hair with it on, which ended up with her cutting the elastic! When I went to pay and asked what I owed her, the price she stated was a bit over the top in my opinion (I am, after all a 77 year old man who doesn't have that much hair). I asked about a senior discount and she said "I could give you one, but it would only be 10%". At that point, I just said "Well forget it" paid and left, never to return again. read more

First impression: Oh no, what have I gotten myself into... Second impression: Oh, the street view is really misleading, this is really cute! Third impression: HOLY CRAP! This place (or at least Christy specifically) is a freakin' gem!! Don't let the street view mislead you (and whoa, is it misleading)! Once you enter the salon, it's charming and familiar - like the small-town up-scale salons of my youth. I came to see Christy (sp?) on a "help me fix this mess" mission, and she turned what I dreaded would be a disheartening experience into a quick, expert job with fierce results and tips to take home for easy care and getting me to my hair goals. It took her three strokes with a comb before she officially took the title of First Hair Stylist In My Life To Notice "you have wavy hair, don't you?" (The weight of my hair makes it hang straight unless it is cut very very short. I came in with hair nearly to my waist in length. I left with an angular bob slightly above chin length.) I noticed the clever short-cuts/adaptations she used for managing my extremely thick hair. It didn't slow her down one bit. She cut confidently and precisely, and spent the majority of time on perfecting the details afterwards, like a pro. She was sweet and unintrusive (I'm not a chair gabber; I appreciate this), super fast, and really smart about how she approached my hair. I have to give her props for that, having no knowledge of what was about to walk in her doors - I'm the kind of client that usually takes 3-4 visits before a stylist understands my hair. The ONLY reason I am not giving it a full 5 stars is because, as I mentioned, I'm not a chair gabber. There was another person in salon who I found to be slightly abrasive and I didn't find much comfort of distraction in the music selection ;) that's such a minor point, and I'm happy to personally overlook it, but in the interest of leaving a full review, there you go! Great experience over-all. No experience yet with other stylists but based on this alone I will return & recommend. read more

Go elsewhere. I understand that things happen but I am disappointed that it is the customer who loses when there is a dispute between owner and an employee. I do not recommend going here for that reason. I paid $300 for service, got one of two appointments and am left partial eyebrows. The owner blames the former employee. She will not honor the contract but she will not tell me how to reach the former employee. The best I get out of doing business with them is to serve as a warning to you. read more
