But, most of the time, when it comes to finding a loan, it's built on uncertainty, fear, and confusion. Which, in the end, makes everyone want to avoid planning their future financials.

I decided to add a little extra principal payment last year. I used their online tool and only added an amount to that line (did not change bank accounts or anyone else). It said it wouldn't take effect on the next payment but would on the following one. No big deal, except that the stupid system didn't process a payment at all for the next one. I didn't find out until I got an email stating that my payment was late. Fast forward to today - sold the home, loan was paid in full, but their system pulled a payment after it was paid off. I had already called them to cancel the automatic payment, but why would it pull a payment with $0 due? So now I have to wait for them to snail mail it back to me by check. I got an email last night from their automated system to be ready for the next months payment (full amount of course, even though they now owe me money). Spent forever on the phone trying to get to an actual human, who just assured me that it wouldn't happen again. Doubt it tho. They also have no clue how to read insurance docs. They sent me a letter every year saying that I didn't carry enough insurance on the home. I sent them the coverages every time they asked for it, but their system doesn't allow for comments. Letters finally stopped when I sent them a written explanation on how to read the documents complete with highlighted areas and arrows pointing to the section that covered the home for 50% over the insurance co's suggested amount. Anyways, I would never choose to be their customer. I got stuck with them when my loan was sold to them. If I was planning to stay in that home, I would have refinanced just to get away from them.

This lender is the absolute worst to work with…read more 1)Their website is not secure 2)They do not have technical support 3)The one time payment option errors every single time, causing delays, late payments, etc. 4)Do not expect payment reminders, which is the norm for financial intuitions. 5) Do not expect ANY communication about escrow changes until the time comes to pay your monthly payment. Surprise!!! I have no idea why my previous lender sold off my mortgage but this company and their (lack of) business ethics are 100% unacceptable.
