A Fresh Start Thanks to Kasey!…read more I've been in Ruston a few months, but between work and travel, my house never quite got the attention it needed--until Kasey came through. She was warm, friendly, and professional from the start. The deep cleaning she did was exactly what I needed to finally feel settled. She worked around boxes and clutter without a single complaint, and somehow made the place feel brand new without it ever feeling like a "job" to her. The price? Very reasonable. The experience? Like having a friend help you get your life back in order. If you're overwhelmed, behind, or just want someone you can trust to do it right, call Kasey. You'll be glad you did.

If there were minus/negative stars she would have earned them...She was beyond bad, she was terrible.

I've always used this cleaner for years. But disappointed with this last visit because of a suit I…read morehad taken there before and when I got it back this time my band of rhinestones was off in both sides of the front of the jacket. It appeared to me they had been cut off. I called the manager was not in and they weren't sure she would be in that day. I requested she call me but she never did. So, I took the suit by a few days later and her excuse for not calling was she didn't know what the suit looked like. Her reply was they are not responsible, because she has seen this happen to new suit. Yes, I've had it several years. She was to check at my request to see if they possibly got the rhinestones bands out of the cleaning machine. She was to get back with me to let me know and I have yet to hear from her. I got the impression when I talked to her that she could care less about the problem or me. The customer service is bad in my opinion. Oh, by the way it was the store on North 18th Street in Monroe. They won't have my business anymore because of her attitude. I took four suit on that visit.

Several weeks after Solar Wash documented that I was owed a reimbursement, I attempted to collect…read moreit, but the business has still not reimbursed the $25.75 I am owed. On July 1, three washers failed while I was using them. An attendant and maintenance worker were present, and the attendant gave me a signed, dated note directing me to return for reimbursement. The attendant has since confirmed by text that she wrote the note and witnessed the problems. I later experienced another equipment problem that forced me to pay to rewash my clothing. Despite providing the written note, text messages, and other documentation, I have not received the promised reimbursement or a clear response from the owner. The explanation given for the July incident was that surveillance footage was no longer available, even though the employee's contemporaneous note and later written confirmation document what occurred. I emailed the company directly with the supporting documents and received no response. I have now filed a formal consumer complaint with the Louisiana Attorney General's Office. I recognize that $25.75 is a modest amount, but customers should not have to absorb the cost when paid equipment fails. This is now about the business honoring its documented reimbursement commitment and resolving the matter responsibly. I remain willing to update this post if Solar Wash provides the reimbursement.

I checked out the new Precision Laundry after finding them having good Google reviews. First the…read morelocation has plenty of parking, was very clean, they had a lot of industrial size washer and dryers. They also have tables to fold and sort, chairs in the "lounge" area and two tvs. The location does not take quarters so no need to get some before arriving. They use a credit card system where you load a card that is provided from the machine. It was pretty easy to use overall. However the con's: It would be nice if pricing was available on the wall or by the machines. You have to go to the machine and select your option to see how much it is - washers start at $8 for basic wash and can go up from there. There are other options like "deluxe" but no explanation what that is? I used two machines so $16 to start. Next you need to figure out how much time for the dryer $.50 a min. The dryers are a bit wonky on how you load more time. I through the two loads into 1 dryer that's how large they are. I did 25 min for a huge load and almost everything dried except the towels I added 3 more min at the end. In order to make the machines work you need to put your card in the slot on the machine (don't forget it). I initially added $20 on the card but for each $10 you load they give you a bonus $1 so my card had $22 loaded. Con: You now have to keep the card if you don't spend all the money. If you don't plan on going back you can't cash out the card - so plan accordingly. They do offer drop off service but you need to call in advance and set that up. Again no pricing on how that works. Price is crazy high $20 for two loads of wash and dry myself. My apt is $2 a load to wash $2 to dry *however not commercial size. The pro to paying more is I was in and out in an hour for two huge loads. I would definitely come back here for my large comforters or sleeping bags.
