Several weeks after Solar Wash documented that I was owed a reimbursement, I attempted to collect…read moreit, but the business has still not reimbursed the $25.75 I am owed. On July 1, three washers failed while I was using them. An attendant and maintenance worker were present, and the attendant gave me a signed, dated note directing me to return for reimbursement. The attendant has since confirmed by text that she wrote the note and witnessed the problems. I later experienced another equipment problem that forced me to pay to rewash my clothing. Despite providing the written note, text messages, and other documentation, I have not received the promised reimbursement or a clear response from the owner. The explanation given for the July incident was that surveillance footage was no longer available, even though the employee's contemporaneous note and later written confirmation document what occurred. I emailed the company directly with the supporting documents and received no response. I have now filed a formal consumer complaint with the Louisiana Attorney General's Office. I recognize that $25.75 is a modest amount, but customers should not have to absorb the cost when paid equipment fails. This is now about the business honoring its documented reimbursement commitment and resolving the matter responsibly. I remain willing to update this post if Solar Wash provides the reimbursement.

It appeared to me they had been cut off. I called the manager was not in and they weren't sure she would be in that day. I requested she call me but she never did. So, I took the suit by a few days later and her excuse for not calling was she didn't know what the suit looked like. Her reply was they are not responsible, because she has seen this happen to new suit. Yes, I've had it several years. She was to check at my request to see if they possibly got the rhinestones bands out of the cleaning machine. She was to get back with me to let me know and I have yet to hear from her. I got the impression when I talked to her that she could care less about the problem or me. The customer service is bad in my opinion. Oh, by the way it was the store on North 18th Street in Monroe.
