Everything can be scheduled online and you can indicate what day you would like trash wheeled to the curb, plants watered etc. Lilly is the happiest and healthiest she has ever been after we have returned from the two trips in which we have used HappyTails services. She is on medication for her blood pressure and has terrible anxiety when we leave her alone. I think she actually gained weight this last trip - which is incredible at her age! Despite these symptoms Herrmann would not see our cat for two weeks. When we reiterated that our cat was in distress Herrmann told us to try a different veterinarian. The outcome likely would have been the same but it was unacceptable that Herrmann would not fit their patient in for appropriate care. When we really needed them, they sent us elsewhere. I knew something was wrong with her and she was clearly miserable, so I just couldn't let her suffer all weekend. Dr Kanach got her in right away and determined that she was in total renal failure. When they allowed me to come in and hold my Kiki and say goodbye, I realized Dr Kanach was the same vet that I had release my dog from her cancer, 5 years ago. What a wild, fortunate yet sad coincidence. He and his team were extremely compassionate and gently, respectfully supported me thru the entire process both times. Once Kiki had passed, the nurse helped me wrap her up and place her into her carrier. She walked me out to my car and offered me a big hug. Above and Beyond, for sure.
