I needed new tires in November of 2022. I spent about $1500 on tires, bought the warranty they said covers "everything." End of summer 2024 I was having issues with my tires, went back to Firestone, they said I voided my warranty by not rotating my tires with them every 3000 miles. What?! I'm almost 50, i have never had my tires rotated - ever - and not once had a problem. Could drive for 30k miles + on any other tires I've owned. Until those tires. They said I needed all 4 tires again. So I finally listened to my coworkers and went to A&J in RI and he hooked me up with 4 almost new tires for $400. The same price as ONE tire anywhere else. It's been about 3 months driving on them and they have been great! No slipping in the rain, controlled stops, no leaks, etc. Excellent service! I called one day to see what they had in stock and they were installed the next day while i waited. The only thing I would have done differently was to go to A & J the first tine.

Ok, since reviewing this last, the QCA was blessed with the opening of its own Costco. So, since…read morethen... Costco is better for gas. 18 pumps vs like 6. Parking is hell. Seriously, Costco has a way better parking lot. As far as prices, well some things are cheaper, others are not. Sams did step up and remodel, just before Costco got here. I like their butcher section, where you can get what you want in the quantity you want. And sushi... they have sushi and Costco does not. I still favor Costco for its management process (I'd much rather support Costco than Wal-mart aka Sams ANYTIME)... but I actually am of the mindset to keep BOTH memberships at this time. Both have their own merit, and I like both at this time. That said, I have definitely found items at Costco that are WAAAAY cheaper than Sam's and sometimes those in reverse too.
