Fast service for a great price!. The only thing was I asked 2 different people for a price on my 2 front tires only. I got 2 different prices. Ok, I went ahead as the higher was still a good price. When I checked out, the cost was a shocker as they replaced all 4. Less than thrilled, but I honestly didn't want to deal with asking them 2 put the back 2 back on so I paid and went on my way. Absolutely unprofessional. Started off good by talking to one of the guys outside but then when I went inside the building, which looks like a dump (filthy and unkept), the guy behind the counter seemed like he didn't want to be bothered. He turns out to be a pompous jacka$$, beating his chest telling me that he knows a lot about tires. Well, I've been working with sport cars and off-road trucks for 28 years, so I know a thing or two about tires as well. All I needed was for a tire to be swapped with the spare since I was on my way home from work and I was 30 minutes away from home. This place ended up being the closest place for a tire swap. I explained to him that there's a nail protruding from the tire and he claimed that you can't tell if it's a nail because they get embedded so far, you can't see it. Here's where the argument started. I said it's visible so I know what the cause of the flat is and here's where he beats his chest saying he knows more about tires than I do. Needless to say, I proved him wrong. As a result, this incompetent so-called boss, had nothing to say and proceeded to charge me $15 to swap the tire and an additional $10 to load the flat onto the bed of my truck. WTF! Overall, this business is run by an unscrupulous man-child and is not recommended. You're better off going to Tires Plus or Firestone or any other well established tire business. read more

Might be nice if the shop wasnt closed 45 minutes before closing time. I even called before showing up.. I guess when you own your own shop you set the hours. I like supporting the community and small shops but why bother when i know Goodyear has a structured business. Jose's tires cheap prices reflect cheap business. read more

I've had 4 tires replaced there on my car and it always is super quick and inexpensive. I woke up to a flat before work and was running late for work but still made it on time due to them being so quick. My girlfriend had a nail in her tire and was about to replace the tire but I suggested she try going to Jose's first and she left shortly after only spending 20 bucks with a perfectly functioning tire. Horrible experience! The Owner/Manager is the biggest jerk I've dealt with in a long time. They damaged my truck then over charged me. when I asked the about the actual price being 3x the amount I was quoted? The manager came out of the back room SCREAMING at me. I was desperate on this Saturday, after realizing I had a bubble on my drivers side tire. Yikes! Afraid to drive knowing it could blow at any time. I live in DeWitt, and no place here had my tire size. I called a few places for a used one only to get recommended 2 times to Jose's. When I called, I couldn't believe they had my 16" size- (used) and was told to come right down and they would put on! The total price for this????? $35- to buy and install-!!! Are you kidding me?? Where do you ever find this? I will always support small time businesses, as I am one also, because that is how we can keep the costs down. They were all very pleasant as I dealt with them, and had it done in a 1/2 hr. We have always used Jose's and recommend them to everyone. This last visit topped them all. We now live in the chicago area and were visiting the quad cities so we planned on getting tires while we were there. They actually refused to put new tires on because we didn't need them.
