If you have a koi pond or are thinking of getting one, start here. They had so many in various sizes, an assortment of fish, lillies and other water plants, fountains... and then your regular nursery selection. After giving us the golf cart tour, she gave us several flags to place in containers of the trees we liked and then John helped us narrow down and select the perfect sizes for our backyard. We chose three 15-gallon Eagleston Hollies (5-6' planted) because we're DIYers; however, Bownds also offers delivery and planting services. If you've been shocked by the skyrocketing price of trees at the usual locations, then you will be pleasantly surprised at the pocket-friendly pricing Bownds extends to retail customers. Do not expect a large staff or miscellaneous garden center plants, this is a family-run business that specializes in trees and only trees. Today was my first experience at New Earth in Katy Texas. I…read morewent there because of a couple of bad experiences at another well known tree debris recycling company in Katy. I met three wonderful ladies in the office that were very kind and helpful. I got their names "Ixtzel, Priscilla and Ana are my new buddies in the office. I also asked who the heavy equipment operator was that pulled my debris out of my trailer in such a (kind and professional manor). His name is David and thank you David for being careful to not rush me and for not damaging my trailer. I don't understand why it's so difficult for other people to simply be kind and do their jobs without making a customer want to leave and look for other options. I drove farther today to try this New Earth place and I am going to continue doing business with them from now on due to the professionalism, kindness and (lower prices). Oh, they are honest too. I forgot my debit card on the counter and they called right away to let me know to come pick it up.

They did a great job on the installation, dug proper size holes, added mulch, fertilizer, fungicide before planting and added mulch around each base. Went to check out and he says the tag is wrong on the palm and it's several hundred more and there's was wrong. Then he tells me the Italian Cypress plants I hand picked and took out to the parking lot were tagged wrong as well and were over $100 more each. I show him a whole wall of them all tagged the same. He said they were all tagged wrong. And to top it off no one at the entire place spoke English or knew what was going on. What a terrible way to do business. Will never go back.

This new Home Depot has what I need and is much closer than to my home…read more I'm a regular at hardware stores because I like to DIY stuff like furniture, greenhouses and whatever. I use the Home Depot app when making my shopping list and from the app I note what aisle/bin my target is hidden in. If the store doesn't have what I want they will order it for me and ship to my home or the store. Often I find the prices are lower than competitors, even Amazon and Walmart.
