Then after sending us the proposal (and us approving it) with less than a week before the wedding Heather sends me this text message out of the blue (the following is an exact copy and paste of what she wrote to me) : "I am just not feeling like I should move forward with this catering job. It's too much pressure for too little time & that is never a good combination. I do not want this job, please don't contact me." I was shocked and completely blindsided since we had only had positive interactions prior to her sending this text. This turned out to be a complete lie because she actually advertises that she only needs three days notice to put an event together for up to 50 people! See below excerpt from an interview she did with Chanel 8 Kolo News Now: "Between shopping for her ingredients and prepping the food, Beaupre-Howell says she needs at least 3 full days to get ready for an event." So basically Heather got a better offer and dropped me like a hot potato and lied about her reasons for canceling, burning a huge bridge in the process and leaving us to scramble less than a week before our wedding.
