The best Schwarma I have ever had in the United States. It was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back and eat there again.

Way too overpriced. Even if you used all locally purchased ingredients, $20 for a shawarma is insane and is totally not worth it!

I ordered beef and they made it with chicken, lots of sauce, garlic. Not shawarma at all!

Okay, I guess I'm going to share an unpopular opinion…read more.. I've heard great things about King Burrito's breakfast burrito specifically, so when I was in the neighborhood, I stopped by late one night. I got four burritos: two chicken, and two breakfast for the next day. All four came in right around $50, so I wouldn't say they're particularly economical. They weren't super fast to come out, but not slow either. The business is not necessarily a welcoming place for dine in, but it is kinda charming in its own way. The back entry to the parking lot is somewhat unusual for Portland. None of the burritos impressed me, though it was all edible. They were a good size, but the flavors were a miss for me. I would have requested slight modifications but the menu on the counter isn't super clear about what's in what. The salsas weren't my favorite. Maybe the breakfast burritos weren't as good because I reheated them? I would potentially give it another try.

Their burrito quality has plummeted in the past years. Unfortunately getting an asada burrito now…read morefeels like holding a balloon of water and grease to where every bite you worry if itll explode and dont dare eat the last half. The burger used to be a great cheap bite but is still of that quality however multiple price increases now get it close to getting a much better quality burger for a couple bucks more nearby.

I decided on a soup and tried their Seafood Jjampong. It was a real disappointment. Bland and flavorless. The ingredients didn't seem fresh. I took it home to try and fix it myself with a little oyster and fish sauce. It did help a little but I wasn't sure if that was supposed to be the traditional flavor. For $25 I was hoping to get something flavorful but it fell short. Avoid this one and save your money trying something else. We also got the ttobokei. Nothing special. Tasted like Chef Boyardee and the sauce was a little spicy. Wasn't too thrilled about this one as well. I think their appetizers are good and I think I'll just stick to these even though the corn dog is 75% cheese, 25% dog. I was also disappointed that japchae is not ontheir menu. Had it been an available item, I would have had that instead of the bland soup.
