It really was a great shawarma sandwich and the fries were super fresh. The location is shady to say the least. I almost didn't realize that this was a food truck with an aluminum overhead. I ordered a chicken shawarma and a beef shawarma with a small fry on the side which was about $20. Pretty average The sandwich was filled with all of the toppings and a brown sauce and the outside was so crispy. The sandwich held together so well until the end but I'm not mad about it. This was truly authentic. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because of the outside appearance... if I'm completely honest, this place looks run down and I would have never came if my brother didn't recommend it. Also, the fact that I felt super uncomfortable while I was waiting for my food because I was basically the only lady surround by at least 4-5 gentlemen. All in all.. I've only tried a few shawarma spots in Tampa but this one is very good! Cute little food truck that pumps food out quickly there is a seating area if you want to eat there under a tent but I usually take it to go. The shawarma platter is great there is enough food to split with someone else or have enough leftovers for another meal in my opinion. I really enjoy the pickled veggies and the toum I only wish there was something spicy added to the mix. We ordered the beef kibbeh and it was a bit greasy but the filling was tasty. We didn't like the frozen krinkle fries at all. It would be awesome to have rice as a side instead. If I had known the veggies for the shawarma plates were picked then we could've asked to hold it. Not a fan of pickled veggies. The pita bread with the spicy pepper spread was delicious again a little greasy. We ordered a dozen falafel and instead received a falafel sandwich. We ate it, but it's loaded with cooked veggies. This was my first time ordering from shawerma al sham and the only good thing they had was the French fries. The problem was the sandwich that l bought. The amount of chicken the sandwich had was great. also the upper part of the sandwich tasted amazing. Unfortunately the bottom half of the sandwich was filled with oil. My stomach couldn't take the amount of oil it had. 30min later my stomach started hurting and feeling wired because of the oil it had. And l rushed to the bathroom because my stomach couldn't take the pain and l was at work. Had to stay in the bathroom for almost an hour to relieve my self and easy the pain. I hope they fix that. Update: this last time I went there the guy who I dealt with was in unusual attitude not only that, he gave me what sounded like someone's else order who left it there. Going home, to discover the food was too cold, like was done and prepared couple of hours before, this is not usually the quality of food am used to from this food truck. I was disappointed and really upset because I happen to have guests at my house. Such an unprecedented embarrassment.
