I made a point to talk to the booking individual before I wrote my review. We were never told that we would have male therapist. I'm glad to hear they usually ask, but in this case they did not, which is fine, we should have asked ourselves. I just wanted to give others a heads up to ask, there was nothing against him. Likewise, the person booking specifically asked to be in separate rooms, and she was told that was only possible if we went two at a time (our total party was four). There was no change in plans. However, once we got there we were in the same room. We did not mention it at that point because with having a male therapist we felt more comfortable being in the same room even if it felt like a couple's massage. Overall I had a great experience while there, which is why I gave an excellent 4 star reviews. However, I should share that before the owner replied to my review, I received a notification from Yelp that the owner flagged my review as being for the wrong place. I had a few days to respond to Yelp staff or my review was going to be removed. I responded in time, and the review stayed. As you can see the owner clearly knew us by name. I now wonder if the reason this business only has 5 star reviews (aside from mine) is because they try screening their reviews by falsely reporting them. Makes me wonder what else they may be hiding.

Julie chopped chunks out of my hair and thinned off all my underhair. She left long thin top strands as camouflage!! My hair is a mess of different lengths, split ends and long wispy pieces. She did it all very fast and faced me away from the mirror. When asked Julie said she just did the "usual trim"!! I am devastated and can't stop crying. It will take years to grow my hair in. I will not be going back to that salon.

Hubby and I went out for a drive in the snow. Saw the "Open" sign lit up against Food Lion's window. I asked him to go see if they were open, how late they were open, and their prices. To my surprise they were open and until 10pm! They offered massages for affordable prices and couples 1 hour massage for $120! Unfortunately the only lady that was there has to use a translator device but she said she would do us both but we would have to take turns. Who cares?! This lady was willing to do the one hour massages! The rooms are so warm; not hot to unbearable but comfortable. You lay on this super soft blanket (thank God cause you're only down to your underwear) and this warm body towel lays on top of you. She starts off by loosening the muscles. This is Tui Nu and if you aren't familiar with it; it really gets the muscles to loosen up and relax. After that she uses what feels like the smoothest oil. No greasy feeling. She massages your whole body and then takes a hot rag and wipes you down thoroughly. I think that's great for those that break out from massages. After your back and legs are massaged; next comes your face. Now, I've never had my face "massaged" just rubbed like a facial. My sinuses have been bothering me and I have no idea what acupressure point she hit but I can breath through my nose again!! My body feels amazing after just an hour. I've been having problems with my right on kidney and right hip and she would feel and apply more pressure. I'm not nearly hurting like I was when I came in. I'm not sure if it's only her all the time but this place is a must. This isn't your "mall massage"; this is an actual therapy place!! Lord, where do I begin. This 'massage studio' is an absolute embarrassment of this industry. You're…read morequickly ushered into a room with no intake process...no paperwork, no consultation, no communication, if you know...you know how concerning that is. Anyways, I was hopeful until I got into the assigned room for the service. Everything in the room from the linen cabinet, massage table & chair looked like they purchased them from your local good will & the linens wreaked of cheep laundry detergent. Still remaining hopeful I was holding back laughter from the joke of a massage I got. The massage was inconstant. She would do one technique on one arm and do something totally different on the other arm. For 5-10 min I was left alone in the room with my bare ass in the open while she tended to new customers coming in..the walls are paper thin & you can hear everything that's going on outside of your room. Once they're done with your massage you're wiped down with a cheap scratchy wet cum rag & told that you're finished. My boyfriend paid for our massages and she made sure to point that he adds a tip. The employees HOVERED over him watching him write a tip & sign and then decided to start a debate about much they thought he should tip them, like be fucking for real. Overall had a BLAST!
