After working with her for a few short months, she prescribed a medication that is no stable (meaning if you miss a dose it can send you into trouble. ) Well, I miss a single dose and ended up in the ER. The hospital I'm in now can't get it under control. Dr Desai didn't listen and now I have to suffer because she knows and I voiced my concerns about this medication and basically she didn't want to find a new medicine (s) that I could try. The office didn't put it on his schedule (after a 3 hour wait) the hosp, worked us & the Doctor into the O.R . The Doctor totally changed his mind on what kind of test he was going to do. The nurses were shaking their heads how MESSED up he was they apparently have had issues with him & his office before. There has been SO many mistakes, we found another Cardiologist ASAP. We never were able to get all the medical records. We think it's because of all the errors that were made. We will be working on getting ALL the medical records for SEVERAL reasons.

i cannot comment on the other doctors in practice with dr peabody at woodlands north houston heart…read morecenter,but having been her patient for many years even prior to joining with the group,i can recommend her highly..as a physician she is very professional,asks the right questions,schedules tests she feels are needed,and she treats you with care and respect..not all doctors do that..the office staff at the front desk (woodlands)has changed a bit since all services have moved upstairs to the larger office,and i have had only a few issues which i mentioned to dr peabody..getting an appointment is not difficult,and if you have to come back one is offered to you at the checkout desk..the wait times in the office itself (large lobby area) are average,with a few minutes in the lobby and a few minutes in the back with the nurse doing the pre check weight,blood pressure ,questions etcetera, prior to seeing the doctor..there is a small issue with parking as the office is adjacent to st lukes lakeside,texas woodlands childrens hospital and st lukes on 242,and the spaces outside are always full, and the parking garage (free)is often very full as well..
