I have been going here since 2000. I have had one surgery by Dr. Cannon and 3 by Dr. Shah, so this…read morewill be primarily about Dr. Shah even though my experience with Dr. Cannon in 2001 was the same. I am amazed to see so many one star reviews but realize that people are going in with problems that are painful and not always 100% repairable. I have never experienced the staff issues with either Dr. Cannon or Dr. Shah's staffs. Dr. Cannon did my right shoulder in May of 2001 and I was back to original strength and flexibility as before my damage. In 2008, I had my left bicep detached at the forearm due to me thinking that I was much younger than my years playing volleyball. Dr. Shah re-attached it and the recovery was smooth and complete. In 2010, I tore my left medial meniscus in my knee while bowling. I went back to Dr. Shah and again the results were excellent. He advised me that I have a fair amount of arthritis in that knee so to be aware that there could be ongoing issues. We introduced a treatment of SyncVisc not long after surgery and I have not had any issues since. In 2012, I re-injured my right shoulder (old on the outside, young in the mind). This time to Dr. Shah. The recovery was long being in an abduction pillow, however, with excellent phyical therapy downstairs, I was back to 100% being able to do anything that I used to in time. I re-injured that right shoulder again 18 months ago while working overseas (fall in my apartment) and now finally getting the time to get at it. Today, from the time that I checked in until I saw the doctor was 8 minutes! When does that ever happen? I will get an MRI to check current level of damage but would not think of going anywhere else for my surgery.

I had shoulder surgery here for AC Separation Grade III in November of 2025. A few months later and…read moremy condition is no better than before the surgery. (As confirmed by a CT scan.) And now I'm in more pain. My clavicle is sticking out of my shoulder making me look deformed. The Doctor refuses to make it right without me paying all of my deductibles and out of pocket expenses all over again. Thousands of dollars!

Dr. Labbé is part of the Bone & Joint Clinic of Houston, attached to St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital…read more I went to him after blowing out my left ACL early this year and he performed an autograft reconstruction using the left hamstring tendon. Outpatient surgeries are done both at St. Luke's and at an outpatient surgical center near the Galleria. Dr. Labbé is very nice, easygoing and personable, and so far, the knee seems to be doing well (only 3 months out). His staff is very professional - Marla was super nice and patient when I was deciding where to have the surgery done, as I wanted to double check everything with my insurer to make sure everything would be in-network.

I have been seeing Dr Marc Labbe since November 2014. A excellent doctor in his field to the point,…read moreno going round the bushes says as it is, which I like. Also I like to take this opportunity to mention about the staff working there. Excellent, Awesome, Friendly n Courteus. I like that very much. My first impression was awesome. When I checked in first time. The place was crowded. The lady that came to receive See me to take me to examining room her name Ms. Marla Enns.. She had smile and glow all over her shiny face. Till date she same. The way she greeted me as if I known her for some time. She made me feel like VIP. Loved it. Than second time visit I was waiting for my turn n saw her treating all her patients same way. Awesome. Also it would not be right of I don't mention the services of the people working there. They all awesome. Specially a Asian lady who has smile 24/7. Good job.keep up good work cause when patients come they come in pain, depression, frustration, and other medical issues n Not all of them r in good mood.

Saw Dr. Paul Chin, originally diagnosed as labral tear, did PT and Chiropractic, no improvement. MRI revealed spinal isues, referred to Dr. Edmund Choi. More PT and Chiro and recommended Hemilamenectomy. No improvement, elected for surgery March 2024. Dr. Choi supposedly performed the Hemilamenectomy and pain level reduced for a couple of weeks, then came back worse than ever. Continued PT, Chiro and Aquatic Therapy with no reduction in pain. Even tried another injection. Nothing was improving. I ended up getting another MRI and a 2nd medical consult from a Nuerosurgeon who reviewed multiple MRIs (pre and post op) and questioned me as to what surgery Dr. Choi had performed. My new Nuerosurgeon at Memorial Hermann-Woodlands said there was no evidence of any previous surgery in my spine and we were both shocked. Needless to say, I hired the Neurosurgeon to repair my spine which he skillfully completed in August 2024. I'm now 100% pain free and walking well (no thanks to Sterling Ridge Orthopaedics and espcially Dr. Choi). A couple of positive comments re: SRO - Office staff are excellent. Dr. Beukelman is a great chiropractor. All the PT crew were excellent, especially Aquatics with Kristin! I can not recommend Dr. Edmund Choi and suggest getting a second opinion to ensure adequate care. I spent almost a year in debilitating pain because this doctor couldn't fix the problem. A HUGE disappointment...

The absolute BEST! I consider myself a professional patient as I am a stage four melanoma survivor…read moreand have also had five surgeries on one knee Thru the last 20 years. I was also hit last year head on twice in 6 months by drunk drivers. Broke both wrists, ( and of course I am a photographer) spine and neck and head injuries. So when I say these guys are the best I mean it. I have seen two docs and their PA's. I was called on time. Everyone from the front desk to the back is so kind and professional. The docs and PA's take time to discuss everything with you. Options etc. I can feel their compassion for my pain and injuries. These are real PRO's. I went to South Texas Bone and Joint in Corpus Christi and saw three docs there for spine, knees and wrists that all need surgeries. That place and the doctors were a nightmare. And you are there waiting for hours. Then they gave me three min. It's like night and day here compared to them. I drove from Port Aransas to here and will continue. I feel like I am in good hands and feel safe with the two docs here so far. Awesome!!!!!!
