So, when I needed urgent care and my PCP wasn't available, I was so thankful Davam was accessible. The staff here are so friendly & caring, and the providers are thorough & knowledgeable. All areas are clean & inviting, with extra touches for added comfort (complimentary coffee bar, refrigerated bottled waters, and masks, hand sanitizer, and tissues dispensed in every corner). This is a top-notch clinic. *Keep in mind, you'll pay Urgent Care prices (higher copay/deductible basis or hefty cash cost), but you will receive outstanding attention. The value is in the immediate care & relief. While medical emergencies are not something I want to brag about experiencing often, I emphasize the consistently wonderful service I've received at Davam, and I highly trust them for future health needs.

More concerning was that my ability to receive care appeared to be influenced by my husband's account status rather than my individual medical needs. This raised serious concerns about professionalism and patient-centered care. Additionally, the billing practices were excessive and unexpected. Appointments routinely exceeded $550, and I was charged at a rate of approximately $175-350 per hour for every minute of time spent, similar to an attorney's billing structure. Because there is no support staff, any time spent outside of scheduled appointments--regardless of how brief--was also billed by the minute. This was not clearly communicated upfront and felt unreasonable given the already high cost per visit. Patients deserve transparent communication, ethical decision-making, and care based on medical need rather than financial considerations. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I cannot recommend this practice.

I appreciate Dr. Yelin's directness as well as how informed she is. I applaud her for her charging as it makes it clear that she values her own time as well as the time of the patients that have later appointments. I saw two other doctors in Houston specializing in women's hormones before finding Dr. Yelin. I feel far healthier and more balanced under Dr. Yelin's care than those prior two. I love that she allows visits by video conference after the initial visit and is very clear on what I am to do based on her analysis of my blood work. Thank you, Dr. Yelin!

After attempting to manage with Pepto & Prevacid the pain continued. After Googling my symptoms it seemed the pain could be a side effect of the antibiotic & the advice was to get clearance from Urgent Care. My past experience with this location has been stellar; however, today I literally walked out without any diagnostics or treatment. The nurse, Amanda K, completely dismissed my concerns & suggested I continue & "push through" with the antibiotic. Huh?!? I'm literally there due to a potential side effect. Then the doctor, Anthony Fasanella, comes in & barely lets me complete a sentence & states this is not what the nurse indicated the visit was about. Again, what?!? I have never felt so dismissed by a medical professional ever. He could not understand why I would be concerned with stomach cramping related to an antibiotic side effect. I don't think I completed a thought or sentence without being interrupted. BTW my husband was in the exam room as well & couldn't believe the exchange - if you can even call it an exchange. Eventually he suggests a CT scan with contrast. After I initially agreed, I just didn't feel comfortable with any of it. Amanda K re-enters the room & I explained that I wasn't good with my interactions with her or the doctor so I declined and left while still in significant discomfort. I've scheduled with my primary care tomorrow to gain some insight-hopefully I can deal with the pain through the night. I will never return to this location and highly recommend that everyone steer clear. Unbelievable experience.

As my throat was having spasms and…read moreswelling from excessive coughing attacks and vomiting last Thursday morning around 3:30-4am I drove myself 4 mins down the road in fear that I wasn't going to be able to wait till my PCP opened at 8:30 am because I couldn't get air through my windpipe when the spasms occurred. Mind you my illness began on Wednesday around noon and since I progressively got to this point I was exhausted, my throat hurt so bad as well it was difficult to talk not only to hear me but the trigger of when these spasms occurred wasn't just the excessive coughing but try talking on a raspy voice that literally hurts and I was very scared I couldn't breathe, definitely not in the normal healthy state people are typically in but you'd think an emergency care nurse is used to that as well as thoroughly trained to listened, observe and react or respond accordingly so, well not this one! The front desk guy was amazing I showed him a text I wrote to my self about the allergies and asthma and all the above and he says it's okay here a pen and paper to write down your name, very sweet. I sat in wait room for like maybe 5 mins and honestly I barely remember the nurse intro and not sure how much effort she was putting in as she and this other lady were chatting it up as they walked ahead of me to a room behind a current near the front desk to I guess take my vitals. She told me to get on the scale and once I did nurse asked me to read aloud my weight! Like really? Did the front desk not fill her in about my voice? Also when is it the patients job to tell the nurse how or what to read on your own vitals that they are measuring? I did attempt to read it, got the numbers a bit wrong (again extremely exhausted, couldn't talk and rubbed wrong at this point so I tried to say I can't talk clearing my voice trying to speak up but her mannerisms were rude like I was taking too long to answer and not answering my weight correctly, so when she behaved so impatiently with an unempathetic concern, rushing words like "hello" and rude face gestures I showed her my text the same one I had shown the front desk guy and she wouldn't even read it, she was like what is this? Umm really, again didn't I just give off a ton of cues that I couldn't talk or was struggling to do so?? So I told her she was being extremely rude and I was leaving and I guess I said I will just go somewhere else, and walked to the front desk to try to give back the arm band and the front desk guy was again super sweet and picked up on my frustration and said just one minute let me find the scissors it will be okay. And I left. Neither of the nurses in that room tried to get me to stay the one she chatted it up with never even spoke to me not even sure why she was in there. Honestly don't even know there names, the woman who didn't speak to me was a darker skin woman and the rude one was white and I'm only saying this because I don't know which one wrote on the portal as she is describing the RN in third person and not saying "PT shoved her phone in my face" yet speaking as if summarizing her feelings about the visit she either observed or could have been the one I was that I'm complaining about. Below is the comment the nurse put on my online portal Nurse Sarah R at 8/21/2025 3:49 AM Pt brought back for triage in room one, pt asked to step on scale and for height, pt hesitant to answer, gave finger motion to "hold on" Pt then asked to sit in triage chair and asked what brought her to the emergency room, pt aggressively shoved cell phone in RN's face, causing RN to be taken aback. Asked patient "what is this?" Pt states "you are kinda rude, I can't talk" Pt then gathered her things "I'm going to another ER" Pt encouraged to stay, she chose to leave. I went home and thankfully didn't die before my husband got me to our PCP where I was injected with antibiotics and steroids as well as prescribed several prescriptions of 2 antibiotics and steroids for a couple of weeks along with continuing the use of asthma inhalers and follow up with an ENT next month. I will never ever go back there and just so you know I do have a history of easily getting sinus infections and bronchitis/ pneumonia but this was the first time in my 45 years of life to have ever had my throat close up like that so again it wasn't just another case of what I've gotten over my lifetime even during extensive allergy injections and prevention treatments!

I felt rushed, as if on an assembly line, and the adjustment was unsatisfactory. Although a simple adjustment is a covered service with my insurance carrier, with a $0 copay, the receptionist and office manager refused to bill for the service and demanded I pay the full charge, $50.00 (This was after I declined to schedule multiple other services.) I paid the $50.00 charge and left. I reached out to my insurance carrier for reimbursement assistance and they advised charging me was a breach of the provider's contract and the carrier attempted to reach out to the provider to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, they were met with hostility and defensiveness from the office manager, along with a flat refusal to reimburse for the service. I won't return to this provider, ever.
