Is it too much to say I love Dr Desai and Dr Banerjee? These are caring experts in the field of cardiology who have dedicated their lives to healing and saving lives. I am so grateful for physicians like Dr Desai. She is amazing. The office is great. They have adequate number of staff and everyone is comeptent and pleasant. I first saw Dr Desai last year because of BP problems, and chest heaviness, and it was hard to get my breath at times. She never questioned my current medicine. After working with her for a few short months, she prescribed a medication that is no stable (meaning if you miss a dose it can send you into trouble. ) Well, I miss a single dose and ended up in the ER. The hospital I'm in now can't get it under control. Dr Desai didn't listen and now I have to suffer because she knows and I voiced my concerns about this medication and basically she didn't want to find a new medicine (s) that I could try. I've been waiting for almost a week for test results from an echo. I know they have had the results since the day after the test. They just keep telling me someone has to call me and go over the results. I've called twice and texted twice. This is wrong to keep patients waiting like this. Va sent me there, but I won't go back if I have a choice! Update... results normal. They could have had the cleaning crew call me with the results, but instead they had to "go over" the results. I was very fortunate to get an immediate appointment, and I was pleased with the staff and the thoroughness and attention provided. I was not sitting in the waiting room long, nor was I put into another room for an egregious amount of time. I did not like the fact that I had to repeat everything to first the note taker, then the doctor's assistant, and then to the doctor himself. that kind of felt unnecessary, but that's just my opinion. They take 48 to 72 hours to return calls. Medications not sent in a timely manner to pharmacies. Have been waiting 6 days for blood pressure meds to be sent to pharmacy and nothing. No sense of urgency from a facility that's dealing with the most important body part in the human body. Went for a review of a stress test and Eco and was not able to receive results from an actual doctor, a nurse attempted to describe the results very poorly and I was left unsure the current condition of my heart. read more

Appointments don't run on time. But the biggest complaint is that my blood pressure reading and ekg were both performed on me just sitting in a chair. Every heart expert says blood pressure readings require your arm be positioned at heart level in front of you, not down at your side. EKG is performed lying down, not sitting in a chair. If the most basic cardiology protocols aren't followed, how can you trust the readings? read more

"I had an initial appointment with Dr. Desai at this clinic. She ordered tests, which I completed. However, during the follow-up appointment, I saw Dr. Desai's nurse practitioner, China. Unfortunately, China was rude, unprofessional, and lacked empathy. Despite my severe symptoms, I had to advocate for additional testing. Although more tests were eventually ordered, I never received any follow-up communication. During my yearly check-up, I encountered China again, and her professionalism had not improved. Her behavior was not only mean and rude but also demonstrated incompetence."During my consultation, Nurse Practitioner China reviewed my medical file and casually mentioned that I likely have PSVT. She suggested putting me on a beta blocker but seemed indifferent about the outcome. When I inquired why it didn't matter to her, she responded that it was my fault for not following up on the test results. I explained that I was expecting a call from the office, but she insisted that patients are responsible for checking. She then refused to provide my test results.Despite eventually receiving medication, I encountered further issues. Only one prescription was given, and there were no refills. I've made numerous attempts to contact the clinic via phone and patient portal, but there has been no response. Frustrated by the lack of communication, I have filed a legal complaint. read more

Finally, there is a respectable cardiologist Dr and a staff. They treat you with the most respect and courteous each time I been there. My Dr is Dr. Desai, very good at communication and makes you feel very comfortable speaking with her. You are not just a number to her, but a real person. My dad went into this doctors office today and he was completely humiliated. Some woman named Angela yelled that "we can't see you cause our table only holds 350 pounds your 400. " what kinda disrespectful shit is that SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL! Who ever the technician was whispered in her ear then look at my dad and walked away quick. The people working there first tried to charge him $600 from his previous appointment cause they didn't pull his insurance , then told him he weighed to much for the table , that now he has to go to Conroe regional and reschedule after calling an Uber and wasting his time.
