Washing Machine stopped midstream and wouldn't drain or turn. So I went to Yelp and put in a repair quote for my appliance guy Pete who I've used several times with outstanding service. He immediately replied that he was closed because of Covid 19. But I also received an immediate response from Billy of Island Appliance who said Connie was in the office and to giver her a call to set up an Appt. So I did. Connie indeed was in the office at 9pm and said her technician was out on a call in Huntington. She contacted him and got back to me within 10 mins. He gave me the choice of coming by after he finished the Huntington job or tomorrow. In this crazy times of Covid 19 I was able to get immediate service. He or should I say they SHOWED UP AT 11:30pm?! YES that's exactly what I said!! 11:30pm! Appliance angels! He had the parts (Drain Pump & bearings) & fixed my washer promptly. Not sure but I think it was his son with him. He was teaching while fixing. Both were Very friendly. This truly meant the world to me because fortunately both me & my son are still working so we need to be able to wash our things in the short span of time that we are home. And his bill also neglected to say how long the part was warranted for. Nor did he get the customer signature acknowledging completion of work performed like all other business get! Nor did he mark the bill paid! Poor business model! Buyer beware!

Not only did they overcharge my card ($179 showed up on my statement instead of $165), but they completely went back on their word.Rude Behavior: The owner was extremely rude to me over the phone during troubleshooting and gave my wife a terrible attitude in person during the initial visit.Insane Labor Rates: They sent a second tech, Kevin, to install a dryer maintenance kit. He admitted the job would only take 30 minutes, but then handed us a bill for $375 plus tax.Shady Billing: Kevin refused to give me an itemized breakdown.
