While the receptionists, Jane and Kathy, were polite when taking my credit card info for the $165 service fee, the actual service was an absolute nightmare.Bait and Switch Pricing: Jane told me the service fee would be deducted from the total repair. Not only did they overcharge my card ($179 showed up on my statement instead of $165), but they completely went back on their word.Rude Behavior: The owner was extremely rude to me over the phone during troubleshooting and gave my wife a terrible attitude in person during the initial visit.Insane Labor Rates: They sent a second tech, Kevin, to install a dryer maintenance kit. He admitted the job would only take 30 minutes, but then handed us a bill for $375 plus tax.Shady Billing: Kevin refused to give me an itemized breakdown. When I called the office, Kathy admitted the part was only $40. That means they charged me $335 for 30 minutes of labor!This business uses predatory, dishonest pricing. The only way I could leave a review is by leaving this company one star, they deserve NO stars! I called Raynor Appliances because my Samsung front load washing machine was no longer working in the spin cycle as the drum of the machine was not moving. When I researched the internet for an authorized repair service, Raynor Appliances came up as a company that services Samsung appliances. Prior to contacting any appliance repair service, I YouTube the issue to see if it was something I could fix but based on my findings, it appeared the problem was the spider arm on the drum had broken because I found hard particles in the filter. I called Raynor and spoke to a woman by the name of Cathy. I explained to Cathy what the issue was and how I found hard particles in the filter, and I was certain the spider arm had broken. I asked for a quote to repair the issue. Cathy who was extremely nice over the phone informed she could not give a quote because a service technician would have to confirm the issue by inspecting the washer. The service call is $125.00 however the $125.00 would be applied to the repair. The technician arrived at my house on Saturday morning. I informed the technician I YouTube the issue before calling the company and the problem was the spider arm broke as I retrieved hard particles from the filter, the technician informed I really did my research. I showed the technician the hard particles that I retrieved from the filter, and he said your right the bolts to the drum broke and that when he said bolts are the same as the spider arm I was referring to. The technician never inspected the washer when he saw the hard particles I collected from the filter. After two minutes of being in my home he said the washer could be repaired but it would cost at least $700.00 to repair it and that I should consider buying a new washer due to if repaired it would only maybe last two years because it would manually be fixed not like being made in the factory. I was informed I was still going to be charged 125.00 for the technician coming to my house to give me a quote, a quote that could have been provided via telephone. The technician gave some half donkey excuse that Cathy should have been able to give me a quote over the phone, but she is still fairly new to the company, I asked how new, he said she was working with the company for about a year, he then reiterated she still should have been able to give me a quote over the phone. The technician said he would talk to his boss and try and get the service call reduced to $100.00, I informed it was still not acceptable, he then dropped the service call amount to $50.00. The technician was in my house for less than 5 minutes and never touched my washer, never tested and/or diagnosed my washer, he only gave me an estimate on how much it would cost to repair the washer and took a picture of the washer because he had to prove to his boss that he was at my house. Thinking now, I should have never let him take a picture of the washer because now it will be hard to dispute with the credit card company, the owner knows just how to scam people. I checked my credit card account and was charged the full amount of $125.00 on Monday morning. As a side note, it took me longer to write this review then the amount of time the technician was in my home. What the owner of this company does not know is I am retired so I have plenty of time to cut and paste this review on every review page I can find so others do not get SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY! read more

Beyond terrible service. 3 different checks on our refrigerator with 3 different diagnoses. Have absolutely no idea what they're talking about and never answer their phone or call you back when they say they will. Omg I have never been so scared from a phone call ever. I made an appointment earlier in the week for someone to come look at my fridge today. Well I called to cancel because my husband figured out what was wrong. The man I spoke is a lunatic! He's the voice on the voicemail, and I told him I no longer need service the problem was resolved the first words out of his mouth was "You are a freaking liar!" I was floored and than he kept calling me a "liar, liar, liar you are a lying freaking bitch!" Than he said "I don't care if you need service I will send a tech out and have him sit outside your house all day till you open the door." I was ready to call the police, this man basically threatened me, to have someone stalk me, I was shaking. I spoke to Cathy whose the woman I made the appointment with and told her what happened and was absolutely mortified from what I was telling her. She was so apologetic and said this is not going to go overlooked and action will be taken. I've done customer service, been an office admin and never have I heard someone who works at a business speak to someone like that. I called and a man answered "hello" did not introduce himself or his company. I asked told him my issue and if he could wonder what it could be. He told me he would not tell me what would cause that kind of issue. He then said he would gladly change 89 dollars for someone to come look. Then I told him I will make a few calls and if I need someone to come I will call him, but midway through that sentence he was just rude and hung up on me. DO NOT use this service. I was charged a month ago for a repair that still has not been done. Even after they told me they don't charge until after the repair. I did not even authorize that charge. I only signed off for the part to be ordered and I have the receipt showing the exact amount. Called to have lg stacked dryer diagnosed and repaired and since I was calling for a tech to also replace the washer door and boot. Was told needed 2 techs for stacked unit...only 1 tech was sent. The first tech was a real nice guy but what he thought was the right part he installed (it wasnt the right part for where he put it) he was unaware there was a tool to place the spring in the washer and hurt himself and had to leave.. the next day a 2nd tech came out again 1 tech for a stacked unit. He cursed the entire time he was there and had no idea why he was at my house. He yelled at me for using the wrong part that the first tech installed and get this he offered to bypass the safety high heat thermostat on my dryer(which was the part that needed to be replaced) he explained they shut down the heat element if it gets too hot usually caused by blocked lint flow (which neither tech checked)..... read more

Beware!!! I had this company send a serviceman to look at kitchen aid refrigerator/freezer. This cranky unfriendly man showed up at my door and after two minutes informed me I needed a simple part ordered. That was in September! I've since called literally 12 times and a woman named Kathy keeps telling me the part is on backorder. I finally called kitchen aid myself and the part is not in backorder. It's a standard part readily available. Needless to say I'm pretty upset. I feel Raynor charged me over $125. Which was to be put toward the repair which they obviously have no intention of delivering. Will never use them again!!! read more
