I just called them to see if they could see my son, but they said if my son wasnt see one of their Sharp doctors then no... So, I asked if they could tell me which Urgent Care Facility I could go to in Chula Vista, and they hung up on me... Nice staff! Farisha was a sweet heart, place was packed and she nicely told me that there was a two hour waiting time.Nurses specially Shelyn were very nice and treated me and my daughter like real people, very human atmosphere and I'm thankful to Doctor Chhieng, he was awsome! read more

VERY long wait times - indicates to me that they are short staffed. Was told 1.5-2 hours wait time. It's been 2.5 hours and I'm still waiting. I am worrying about what else I will catch while I'm here and the longer I wait the higher my chances of contracting something I didn't come in with. I will be doing some research on better options for both mine and my family's health care. read more

Even tho it's urgent care, the level of service you receive here is amazing. I was treated for Bronchitis and the check in staff was very friendly, all the nurses, doctor and even the x-ray tech. For being a Saturday, not one of them showed unhappiness for being here and they all asked over and over, "Is there anything I can do for you while you wait?". When the x-ray tech walked me back to my room he said, " Can I get you anything? Anything you want to bring you while you wait?". Everyone is so nice. Yes the wait is an hr or so to be seen but well worth the quality of care you receive. The doctor found the prob quickly and gave me medication sent me on my way happy. I will def be back here when I get sick again! read more

I really enjoy the Sharp Rees-Stealy experience with this urgent care location. I've never had to wait no more than 10 minutes to be seen and within 5 minutes of being in the room a doctor would be available to address my urgent health concerns. Just recently I came again for an ear infection or so I thought. The wait time was 2 hours which was a shock as I said earlier in my review I've never had to wait no more then 10 minutes to be seen. I unfortunately had to leave as I had my children with Me who were very hungry. I came back the very next day as I acquired a cold and cough over night. As soon as I arrived the reception was there from the day before and apologized for the wait. As soon as I sat down the manager of this location came out and apologized for what happened the day before and provided me with her card for any future issues as well as a Starbucks gift card! I'm extremely pleased with the way they handled this situation. Great staff at good location. read more

First time here and was pretty impressed. I needed to be seen by a doctor for a quick check and so I came here first thing in the morning. No line and I was the first one there. The lady at the counter was super nice. I was called in before I even sat down. Went to the room and the dr came in before the nurse was done asking me the normal questions. I was their a total of 20 mins. I even got a message in follow my health that night asking how I was feeling. Pretty impressed and very satisfied!!! read more

I can't say enough good things about this urgent care. Every person I come across is super nice. From the people at the desk to the nurses to the doctors. Every time!! They show nothing but care and concern and I love coming here when my family or I feel sick. And no kidding I'm ALWAYS in and out in 35 mins. I highly recommend this place when you need urgent care. read more

I want to give one star because of this really rude receptionist working at the X-Ray department. I went to get my blood drawn and I was kind of confused on what I had to do afterwards, whether or not I should stay for my results or go home, so I asked the lady at the desk and she responded with "I don't know??" In a very rude tone and telling me that she can't do anything about it because she works with only x-Ray related stuff. I get it, I went to the wrong department, but you could have at least helped me out on where to go, or could have told me nicely that I'm asking in the wrong department. She did none of that, but respond with "I don't know???" Receptionists are supposed to be nice, like damn lol. read more

Worst experience ever. I was just there last week. I waiting to cool down to give my review but my mind is set. It was the worst. I was waiting for 4 hours. I asked why it was taking so long and the lady in the front desk on the second floor said that the nurses were busy. Yes they were.... busy talking to an old co -working who showed up. There was 6 "RN's" sitting down in the waiting room 2 seats away from me chit chating for about an hour. Then when they called my name she mis pronounced it and I corrected her and she laughed at me. That was not only rude but completely inappropriate. I won't mention her name because I wouldn't want her to get fired. Then when I was in the room they made me wait an additional 45 min. It was the worse. read more

I went in there on 1/26/14 with a high fever and not trying to deal with anyone I felt like shi** They gave me the best service, from the girls in the front desk, nurse Claudia and Dr. Blake. The urgent care was packed, yet they manage to help me fast. They took the time to explain everything and made sure I was feeling good by the time they released me out. Really satisfied with their service and attention. read more

Went in for an On going issue, my primary doc told me to come here if symptoms got worse, and they did, which caused me to have one of the most intense panic attacks I've ever had. All Dr. Lee did was "reassure me I'd be fine...since it was an On going issue I'd need to see my primary, and I was doing all the right things". Perfect I'm not going to die, but because of the severity of my panic attack I couldn't even hold a proper conversation without crying. Dr. Lee said he couldn't help with the panic attack since I'd had a history of them (10 yrs ago in another state) I'd just need to see my primary. That did nothing for me since it was after five on a Friday. I was pretty much begging him for anything that would calm me down and keep me calm over the weekend until I could at least talk to my primary. So thank you Dr. Lee, I've had a weekend full of panic attacks with a house full of out of state guests. Instead of having a great time, I'm freaking out mentally, about freaking out. read more

These folks have taken care of me on multiple late nights. Always polite and attentive.

If you try and make an appointment with them be sure you get a confirmation on everything you do down there things get twisted pharmacy slow and the phone answering service doesn't take messages right read more

Best urgent care I've ever been too!! Everyone is super nice & attentive. Was seen by the dr & had a breathing treatment all within 1/2 hour. Super fast! Best feeling to know you're in good hands. Thank you! :) read more

Clean facility, friendly staff, they try to quote wait times, over all the process for getting my wife a simple nausea prescription took about 3 hours which seems really rediculous. Probably understaffed in regards to Drs read more

If I were able to give negative stars I would! I went in for a urine screening for pre employment in the afternoon. Let's say 12:50pm.. The nurse explained the wait would be between 30min to an hour max. I didn't mind. After explaining I wasn't allowed to use the restroom, I waited patiently. It wasn't until it was about 2pm where I started to get impatient because I needed to use the restroom. I politely asked the nurse how much longer it would be because I started to notice the patients that checked in AFTER me were being called. She smirked back and said "there's still two people ahead of you". I eventually gave up and went down stairs to use restroom before I honestly would have an accident. After returning to the office I hear my name being called, and I see another person respond and follow the nurse into the back to start the screening. I tried to chase after them but the door had been closed. I explained to the nurse that someone else had responded to my name being called and she lied by saying "that's not true, I still see your paper work right here".. Okay, I thought maybe I'm going crazy. But 30 MINUTES LATER. The girl that responded came back out to tell the nurse she made a mistake and thought she heard her name. I lost it by this time! THIS PLACE IS SO UN ORGANIZED AND THEY WILL LIE TO YOU TO COVER THEIR ASS. They didn't even apologize for the confusion!! Their only response was "she did have a similar name you" HELLO! ASK FOR AN ID!!!! SO UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! read more

I am SOOOO confused as to why this "urgent care" got such high reviews. Went in last month for an emergency....and the lady at the front (receptionist??) was beyond rude, I REALLYYY think she had a stick up her A$$. anyways, went into Sharp around 9am on a thursday. I GET IT, its urgent care and they need to help people who need urgent help and I NEEDED URGENT HELP. After waiting over 2 hours, 2 HOURS!! I finally got my blood taken and was asked to pee in a cup. Meanwhile I am STILL in the waiting area, in so much pain I could barely walk. 2 hours later.....my blood results come back. still no room for me, just chiilennnn in the waiting room, screaming from the pain and crying. point of the story.....Sharp really really traumatizied me. After being there from 9am to almost 4pm with NO ROOM, NO NURSE, and NO MEDS I will NEVER EVER (EVEN IF I AM DYING) go back here again. The doctor who saw me had absouletly NO compassion at all. I thought nurses and doctors were all about "helping" people......UM NO. crappiest, most horrible experience Ive ever had at a urgent care in my life. read more

Very centric, good staff, decent tech, emergency services are great. Better than most all of the healthcare alternatives.

Staff are caring and friendly. I was seen immediately and completed my visit within 45 minutes on a Friday night.

I often choose this urgent care over my primary physician because of their service. The receptionist, nurses, techs, and doctors are ALL friendly, kind and hospitable. They genuinely care and are thorough in finding out what is wrong and how to make it better. Sometimes I feel like my previous doctors take what the nurse takes down, don't ask anymore questions and then make a guess as to what is wrong. Not at this urgent care. I always leave feeling so much better than when I had come in, physically or with peace of mind. They also send notes in the mail thanking you for choosing them and they call a few days later to see how you are doing. Truly amazing service. read more

I was so impressed with this facility and the service that I received. I came in couple of days ago with an excruciating ear pain and bleeding from the ear, as well as being extremely dehydrated from vomiting and headed to ENT appointment first. Dr. Secht was very compassionate, understanding as well as knowledgeable. She diagnosed me correctly right away when other sharp doctors days before misdiagnosed me Because they didn't take the time to look into my issue. She gave me the treatments that I needed and referred me to urgent care downstairs for hydration. When I got to urgent care, they got me in quickly, And the nurses we're extremely accommodating and nice exceeding my expectations. Dr. DALHOOUMI was very compassionate and pleasant, got me the treatment and the pain management then I needed and even took the extra step of making sure that my pain management and comfort for the upcoming flight will be taking care of with the condition that I had. I would definitely recommend going to the urgent care and ENT to DR.Secht. read more

the actual drs here are decent, the receptionists though are terrible. the average phone call here takes 20minutes +, and i have to call them several times for the same thing to get any kind of results. the practice only refers out to other sharp rees stealy drs and they are all over crowded already read more

@sharpreesesteely urgent care Chula Vista is such a rip off!!! I feel so disrespected & upset at the service I received today. & from a health care institution?! I took my niece to get care for an ear infection she had & even though the doctor initially said he would explain every procedure and cost beforehand, at checkout the receptionist stated there was a surprise fee of 41$for a lab test. After I told her I didn't want the lab test she first said it was fine, then came back and said I would have to pay for it anyway even though I didn't process the lab test. After going back & forth, I said if I was going to pay for it then to process it. They then stated they "threw it away." BUT I STILL had to pay for it!!! After getting really upset I paid the fees and left. A care institution that is supposed to help their patients made me feel like I was being taken advantage of & ripped off. This is UNACCEPTABLE read more

This review relates to the whole of Sharp Rees Stealy. The Doctors are terrific, but the support has been flushed down the toilet. Several months ago they switched frommysharp.com to a mis-named program "Followmyhealth.com," the new program should be called, couldn't follow my health with a compass, GPS or diving rod. I always voice my opinion on this program while in the waiting room and always get nods of approval along with comments like, ":I can't get in, I can't get hold of my Doctor or it is so difficult." All are applicable. I have spent more than 2 hours at different times, connected to the help line. The answer, it appears would be to start again and lose my history. Now that is what I call an answer. My answer is,"who ever introduced this botched abortion of a program, should be hung from their toenails for a week before being fired. I get messages in my in my email inbox stating that there is new information in my followmyhealth account. Well (I can't get to them so there is no point in the emails. A terrible shame that some really good doctors are being hampered by this program. Note, I joined Sharp when I changed jobs because the insurance did not cover Scripps, It does now and I made contact with my old Doctor thiw week to check on returning to the Scripps fold. read more
