It was obvious throughout my time here that Michelle cares about her customers as she greeted most people that came in by name and recognized this as my first time in her chair. I recently retired from the military, so my experience for the last 20+ years has been a buzzcut. Michelle listened to what I had to say, looked me over, and was able to give solid recommendations on a new direction, which is exactly what I was hoping for. She also took the time to explain some various products and how to use them, benefits of this or that. All in all, a great experience and I'd highly recommend anyone check her out for themselves, especially as the haircut was only $15.

The price is beside the point; he comes from the era where cutting hair was one of many skilled crafts, not something you learn to do at night school. He has one of the most loyal customer bases I've ever seen, and after getting a haircut there, you'll see why. He is extremely responsive to whatever you ask for, and is adept at making your hair look full without feeling heavy. If your hairline is a little funny, he'll notice, and he'll make it look good, instead of just cutting it normally. Everywhere else I've ever been has felt like a standard cut. Like says, "Nothing but the best, from the best, for the best." Oh and I've had him shave me/trim my beard when I went through that phase, and it was like going to a spa. Warm shaving cream, a switchblade razor, a towel on his shoulder, the whole deal. I've lived in New Jersey, Arkansas and now Brooklyn, and I always wait until I come back home to get a haircut -- sometimes I come home just to get the haircut.
