I don't know who Melissa G. is or what her agenda is, but I've been going to Gervasini's for YEARS and Vinny has ALWAYS been nothing but respectful to ALL of his customers. As a matter of fact, the entire staff brings a welcoming, relaxing environment. Plus, not only is Vinny a phenomenal barber, but he genuinely CARES about what's going on in his customers lives. Don't be surprised if he cuts your hair and when you come back a month later, he asks you how your family is, or how that rough situation you were in is working out. The first time I went to Gervasini's for a haircut there was a young African, American gentleman getting his haircut by a barber named Vinnie. Upon leaving the barber shop, Vinnie began berating the African, American client using the 'N' word repeatedly. This was loudly enough for all clients, owner, co-workers, etc. in the room to hear. The 2nd and last time I went to Gervasini's, there was a different African, American gentleman getting his haircut by the employee of Gervasini's named Vinnie. After the haircut, the gentleman went to his car to get cash to give Vinnie a tip. While outside getting $ for a tip, Vinnie began his brerating of this man. Talking about how he, 'hated cutting the 'N' word's 'nappy' hair, etc. Both times, the owner of Gervasini's Barber Shop was in the same room. read more

Very clean and friendly barber shop. Prices are resonable. I liked that the barber's have their own Craftman toolboxes for storage. Wi-Fi available. Plenty of parking too. read more

My father and I have been going to Gervasini's for about 8/10 years and have always received incredible service. All of the employees are very nice and really make you feel at home in the barber shop. However there was a recent comment that called Vinny, who is the barber that cuts my hair, racist. This could not be any further from the truth, both my father and I are black and have never felt even the slightest bit of discrimination or hate from anyone in the shop because of the color of our skin. Not to mention if there were any comments of racism the owner Mark would never let that slide and would take immediate action. Don't let this attempted defamation lead you to believe that Gervasini's would tolerate racism. This is the best barber shop in town and will treat everyone as family no matter their ethnic or racial background. read more
