I use a remote gauge and it's pretty accurate, and I have no issue doing it this way. This gives them an idea how much fuel we're burning and allows them to get me on the delivery schedule. With any snow or ice storm, I clear the driveway, our sidewalk and I remember to clear a path to the tank. This last storm (1/25/2026) was brutal, a lot of sleet and freezing rain. The driver showed up as scheduled on Feb 3rd and was thrilled to see a clean spot on the street for him to park the truck, with a clear path to the tank. And hats off to the delivery guys, they're awesome!

They failed to show even though they delivered to a neighbor 300' away on the same street. They rescheduled for 5 days later. Economy Propane called our neighbor 2 days later said they were not coming because there was snow on the street. There is snow on every street in the city. The Federal authorities have issued an emergency order allowing fuel to be delivered on snowy or icy roads. Economy Propane said they didn't care even though our street is pool table flat. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU DEPEND ON PROPANE.

I said yes but the 3 hundred gallons of fuel is mine. She didn't care, I have no idea how I owed $105 because I have auto pay, but to get my fuel that is being held hostage I paid by credit card. I was then told it will take several days to remove the valve locks since they have paying customers to service first. So, when the fuel is gone so is Suburban. I keep running out of propane--even though they're supposed to monitor it to prevent that. Their billing process is a complete disaster. I'm supposed to be on a monthly billing plan, but all of a sudden, they changed it without notifying me. Then they deducted a grand from my account and blamed me for it. Every time I deal with them, it's a complete mess. And pray to GOD you never have to speak with Sue on the phone--she's by far the rudest, nastiest person you'll ever encounter. She talks to you like you're trash and stupid. I don't think she got the memo that she shouldn't treat customers like garbage. The entire situation with Suburban is an absolute joke. I highly recommend choosing another provider, as this company is completely incompetent. I'm not the only one who thinks so--the delivery drivers tell me horror stories every time they come to my house.

The fuel bays are well lit at night as I do a walk around of my new vehicle to look for any new scars or marks, while pumping gas. They have several window washing areas, complete with a window wash fluid, a squeegee and paper towels. While pumping gas recently, I watched as a guy at an adjacent pump proceed to pull the front of his pants down and piss on the gas pump while he filled his girlfriend's tank with $3.00 of gas! The area is full of trashy people, so If you are traveling through, it's safe to stop here as Howard County police are usually patrolling, but lock your car door once you get out.

After 2 months of trying to get this resolved, the area manager called and stated the employee admitted to setting up the fake account without my knowledge. The manager said that he was sorry but still wanted me to pay (a discounted price) for the delivery they made without my consent, knowledge, or order. When I informed him that I reported the fraud to the appropriate state and federal agencies he stated that he has contacts in all of the local area including HVAC and he will remember this for the future.
