We just had a whole house generator installed, and this is the company that we used to set up and fill the propane tanks that will power the generator. The initial delivery of the tanks was coordinated by the generator installation company, however, from the day of tank delivery up until now everything has been fantastic. Dennis, the delivery driver who brought, installed, and filled the tanks up was very helpful. He answered all of my questions and took great care to install the tanks in a manner that was safe and in the location that I needed. When dealing with the staff that has handled everything else when I've called, I've been incredibly impressed. I initially spoke to Lynn, who just like Dennis, patiently answered all of my numerous questions. She explained the process of getting us set up with our own account and what to expect for the next steps in the process. Now that everything is up and running, I had the pleasure of speaking to Mary yesterday. Again, Mary was very helpful, professional, but also very friendly and personable. I love supporting locally owned small businesses and I'm so glad this is the company that the generator installation company works with because I could not have picked a better company to service my tanks! If you're looking for a propane company, definitely give them a call. Their prices are reasonable, the service is great, and I have been very pleased already.

We're not on an…read moreautomatic fill, so I call and give them a two week heads up notification with the propane gas gauge reading. I do it again with a 1 week heads up. I use a remote gauge and it's pretty accurate, and I have no issue doing it this way. This gives them an idea how much fuel we're burning and allows them to get me on the delivery schedule. With any snow or ice storm, I clear the driveway, our sidewalk and I remember to clear a path to the tank. This last storm (1/25/2026) was brutal, a lot of sleet and freezing rain. The driver showed up as scheduled on Feb 3rd and was thrilled to see a clean spot on the street for him to park the truck, with a clear path to the tank. And hats off to the delivery guys, they're awesome!

They failed to show even though they delivered to a neighbor 300' away on the same street. They rescheduled for 5 days later. Economy Propane called our neighbor 2 days later said they were not coming because there was snow on the street. There is snow on every street in the city. The Federal authorities have issued an emergency order allowing fuel to be delivered on snowy or icy roads. Economy Propane said they didn't care even though our street is pool table flat. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU DEPEND ON PROPANE.

I keep running out of propane--even though they're supposed to monitor it to prevent that. Their billing process is a complete disaster. I'm supposed to be on a monthly billing plan, but all of a sudden, they changed it without notifying me. Then they deducted a grand from my account and blamed me for it. Every time I deal with them, it's a complete mess. And pray to GOD you never have to speak with Sue on the phone--she's by far the rudest, nastiest person you'll ever encounter. She talks to you like you're trash and stupid. I don't think she got the memo that she shouldn't treat customers like garbage. The entire situation with Suburban is an absolute joke. I highly recommend choosing another provider, as this company is completely incompetent. I'm not the only one who thinks so--the delivery drivers tell me horror stories every time they come to my house.

New delivery date us 1/31/2025 so will want and see. In the interim I will be checking out their competitors for customer service and price.

They have several window washing areas, complete with a window wash fluid, a squeegee and paper towels. While pumping gas recently, I watched as a guy at an adjacent pump proceed to pull the front of his pants down and piss on the gas pump while he filled his girlfriend's tank with $3.00 of gas! The area is full of trashy people, so If you are traveling through, it's safe to stop here as Howard County police are usually patrolling, but lock your car door once you get out.

After 2 months of trying to get this resolved, the area manager called and stated the employee admitted to setting up the fake account without my knowledge. The manager said that he was sorry but still wanted me to pay (a discounted price) for the delivery they made without my consent, knowledge, or order. When I informed him that I reported the fraud to the appropriate state and federal agencies he stated that he has contacts in all of the local area including HVAC and he will remember this for the future.

I am in the store at least once a week. Oh, they have a military discount program. Now, while the staff if helpful, often it's hard to find the staff. It's a big store and they are often busy. I told him that i need my 500 that i paid for, he was in hurry to leave and he did not even provide me with invoice which is by law must be provided to me at the time of delivery. After reviewing before and after gauge reading, it looks they only delivered me 350 gallon not 440 gallon per the email that i received from them. i called AmeriGas customer service today Saturday the February 22nd and i spoke to Vicky (Indian accent) which he was the rudest person i ever deal with, he stated that my tank was filled up to 85% and that is the reason 440 gallon was installed and rest was credited back to my account because they only can fill up 85%, i advised Vicky that is not true, my gage shows 54=540 gallon and based on original gage reading to final they only delivered 350 gallons, he (Vicky) first said my gage is faulty then i advised him that is false statement because i have pictures of before and after, also my entire exterior of my house has surveillance which recorded all conversation and camera showing gauges, then he ask me to submit picture showing my current reading which i emailed. I logged in my account and my account shows they updated my tank current volume at 80%, this is fraud and will be treated as fraud, AmeriGas has no ethics and after reading articles about propane companies, they have stolen billions from customers stating they delivered curtain amount but actually they delivered 100 plus less gallons for 1000's of customers. This is unethical practice and robbery in fullest. I will proceed to fill a complaint with consumer services and hopefully it will be lawsuits against them.
