The room has a great view over Columbus Circle and, equally important super acoustics. Overall, it was a sensational evening and recommend you check out their programs. To add, our tickets enable us to head afterwards to the adjacent Dizzy's Club without a cover, where there was a fantastic small jazz trio. An amazing evening!

It was okay, but not great. Pelmeni and borsch are musts though, as they are both delicious. Service - Very nice! Parking - Don't have their own parking lot, just walk here from the many large destinations nearby. Overall, this place is great. Would highly recommend.

The show I saw had incredible performers and felt really happy to be attending. But this is where it fell apart. I have a great deal of empathy for waitstaff especially during this kind of cabaret show. I had gotten a last minute VIP ticket and ordered a drink - and was informed at the time I placed a drink that there was a $25 mimimumx which I knew about when I bought the ticket. The waitress who served us was unnecessarily rude sbout it: I went to order food but stopped at spending more because at that point, the fewer interactions with her the better. I don't know what to think - someone willing to spend more money and feeling reluctant to because of a rude waitress is a problem to the venue to fix.

I wasn't in a drinking mood, so I enjoyed a mocktail and an appetizer, plus the cornbread to go. Buying tickets in advance is recommended. I got lucky that it wasn't full. They also run some discounts, like student tickets, so check online if that applies to you. Overall, I really enjoyed Dizzy's Club and would definitely come back.

We did not have one, but we were admitted regardless, and a friendly server / hostess informed us of the 2 drink minimum and seated us right near where the musicians were set up. The drink menu is a ode to rum. All kinds of rum; spiced, dark, overproof, high end. Most of the cocktails are tiki cocktails, but do not be turned off if you don't like sweet drinks! It's a myth that tiki cocktails are all sickly sweet. A properly crafted tiki drink will be a great balance between alcohol, sugar, mint and acid. These drinks were properly crafted! I honestly cannot remember what Larry and I ordered but all four of our drinks were delightful! You really can't go wrong with any of their rum cocktails. We were with Larry's brother, who is not much of a drinker. He ordered a whisky sour made with Crown Royal. The whisky sour was a surprising standout! The sour mix is house made (of course), which elevates this drink from an overly sweet attempt to cover up cheap whisky to a complex beverage that can be savored. The jazz was great - they had 4 musicians (kind of a lot in the small room) who played 2 songs before breaking and returning for another 2 songs, etc, etc. The short sets were welcome as they allowed for conversation between the entertainment. Despite it being very small, and crammed, the service is excellent, efficient, and the atmosphere is incredible! If there was a place for maximalism, it is here. They have so much decor, all over. From vintage American, to Japanese, and French, etc. The trains that run above your head add more to the mess. But, somehow, it is comforting, despite all that is going on. The food is excellent, and although they are famous for their croquettes, which I was actually less keen on, their cod roe pasta/udon is absolutely stellar. Never have I had such a deep seafood flavor with the egg texture and cream. It is delicious. The katsu sando is also incredible, and generously portioned. I would say the cocktail program is not as good, the Zen matcha vodka was way too vodka strong and not enough matcha or balance. The earl gray infused cocktail was nice however. It is a lively dream to be in, to experience a night at Tomi Jazz.
