This young lady handed my keys over to someone else and he walked out with them. I guess she mixed up the payment. After the mix up she proceeded to have me wait behind all of the Spanish customers. She didn't inform me to hold on or provide be with an update so I am just sitting there confused as to why she has me waiting behind all the customers after she just called me up. When I asked her and her coworker for an update after standing around for 5-7 minutes, they both had an attitude. There's no professionalism with the cashiers. It is always the issue. The mechanics are asking me why I didn't pick up my car yet as I wait for an update. I'm over this place. read more

My mother went there yesterday for a Car wash. And one of the employees business crashed into the sign and totaled her car. Cherry topper, by the time the cops arrived the employee had left the scene and gone home as per the manager. Even though when I was on the phone with the manager at that time since my mother called me, I requested him for the employee to stay at the scene. And the manager decided to get loud with me and not tell him how to do his job, then proceeded to hang up the phone on me. So the manager has employees that can't drive a car into the car wash, manager didn't keep his employee at the scene of an accident and manager doesn't have any address or contact information of the employee. But I shouldn't tell him how to do his job, or maybe he shouldn't be the manager. read more

It's been a while since I've gone to get an oil change and car wash. So on my day off work, I decided to take the car to Super Car Wash & Quick Lube, which I've passed numerous times while driving down 21 South in Newark. I wasn't sure where to go at first for the oil change, and had to back up because I drove up to the car wash line (yeah, I was *that* guy). However, within an hour, I got the car's oil changed, as well as two damaged filters, and got a sweet car wash. The mechanic showed me what was going on under the car's hood and explained what was up. We also went through each itemized service that would show up on the invoice. That was good. The guy was great. The cashiers in the waiting area were super friendly and nice. The lady who helped me explained what I needed to do to redeem the free car wash that comes with an oil change. Basically, you pay for the oil change, then you take the receipt and paper when you drive up to the car wash queue. There's a guy who walks up to each car and will give you a ticket, then you have to go inside again and give the ticket to the cashier, who will then give you a little, square ticket with the date on it to show the guys at the end of the wash to prove your car wash is paid. It sounds like a lot typed out here, but I thought it was an efficient process. I liked the waiting area because it was spacious, there were some seats, and a plethora of car accessories, candies, drinks, and snacks. From inside the waiting area, you can also watch your car go through the car wash, which is pretty cool. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service at Super Car Wash & Quick Lube. This is the second time I have gone there and haven't gotten tire shine, which is included in the package I paid for. The workers there are constantly sleeping on themselves, talking to each other and not paying attention to their work. Very poor service and other reviews seem to suggest the same. If you're going here then just get the most basic and cheapest wash service they have because you won't get your money's worth anyway. Even though everyone knows as well as this business that the wholesale price of motor oil is at its lowest ever, they are still over charging the customers for a simple, basic regular oil change ($48) and no one even knows what quality of oil is been used. Other oil change places within 2 miles are charging $30 for the same service. The greed is just too much to pass on and costumers must be aware of it. There is no reason not to pass some of these savings down to the costumer in times like this. Unfortunately they didn't value that, because I ask the manager to have one of his guys to wipe down my truck which had tree sap in front and on both sides of my truck, plus I give a 5. Dollar tip to the guy who does the wiping, but the manager said he couldn't do it. I normally get the package #3 for my car, which includes Vacuum which they did a horrible job, and Armorial on the tires plus includes hot wax on my truck. Review only for car wash (I don't know anything about the lube/oil change dept)~ I moved to the area not too long ago, and have been looking for a good place to get my car washed. After coming here, I think this will be the place I'll continue to go. Fairly priced. First, they vacuum your car before it goes into the wash. Also, this place seems to be one of the precious few places in the area that do machine car washes instead of hand car washing (sorry, I just think the machines do a better job). However, machines can't wipe and dry out every nook and cranny of your car, and so after the vacuuming and the washing, the staff actually wipes down your car~ pretty thoroughly, in fact. They even opened the doors and wiped down the water inside of the doors. They even get inside your car and spray windex to get rid of whatever window smudges you might have inside the car, too. So.. I had exactly an hour to get from the Maher Terminal Building on Corbin Street in Elizabeth, to the car wash, and back.. Made it by 5 mins!! Very busy car wash, even during the summer! Very quick, efficient service. The cheapest wash is $15 for package #1 and goes north of $35 for their highest priced package. Extra for big ole' tires and long ass cars and trucks. There will always be a line, so expect that. Once your car has begun its wash, you're in and out in 10 minutes. This place destroyed the interior of my car, admitted it, and was careless in their response to the damage done to my vehicle. I brought my vehicle here for the "VIP" package last week, only to have the interior paint of my vehicle wiped off by the detail work they did. I reported this to the manager, also an arrogant butt, only to be told that his vehicle has been given hundreds of VIP packages. He volunteered to show me his black jeep, which magically had the majority of the paint wiped off his dash board. He then proceeded to play ignorant after I brought this up. They made no effort to correct the damages made to my vehicle even though remains of the damage were laying in the freshly vacuumed floor. I would strongly recommend against bringing your car here, unless you don't care about it being damaged. read more

I have been both a private and business customer of this Newark, NJ facility - known also as Sharp Car Wash - for several years now. While the employees have never been competent or welcoming, the facility was convenient and accessible and I continued to frequent this establishment. This morning, I was appalled by the treatment that I received when I visited the facility with my business vehicle. There was an apparent miscommunication between the car wash company and my employer. However, instead of the matter being resolved civilly, I was verbally attacked by inept day manager who among other things called me an "asshole." The receptionist, Julie, was extremely unprofessional, as well. While I understand that there was a discrepancy, I do not understand the belligerent and unprofessional attitude of the employees. In addition, when I inquired as to his name, the day manager refused to provide same. The employees - specifically the day manager - was clearly biased and discriminatory in the manner that he interacted with me. As someone who has dedicated my career to public service, I am appalled and disgusted by the treatment that I received. I strongly suggest that if you are looking to get your vehicle or your company's vehicles washed, please go elsewhere. Go to a place that respects ALL people, speaks to you professionally and acts responsibly. read more

This car wash is now called Sharp Auto and they are terrible. I ended up vacuuming my own car for 20 minutes as they didn't vacuum at all. I wanted the top package just to ensure that I would at least get a decent job but I was told that level would take over an hour. A waste of $20, 45 minutes and my elbow grease.
