This was the worst tasting margarita... skip it

Go for the pizza it was awesome!!! Margarita was a bust!!! We sat down waited to see if a waitress would approach but there must not be. Went to the bar orders a drink and the Fred pizza, LOVED the pizza!!! The love band was decent but next time I will get the pizza to go.

I would consider this a local dive bar atmosphere. Live music was more of a blues style and really great talent. The patrons seemed more of the 50+ variety and we went for the food and because we were just arriving on the island and needed food late at night after checking in. Our attire was leggings, tshirts and messy buns...we fit right in. Food was good though and the right size portions. Also the drink sizes and heavy handed pours were appreciated!

On-site free parking.

Live music and late night wood fire Pizza. Gluten free crust available. Perfect place for a private PARTY.

Great place to get a drink & relax. Amazing ambiance. In house pizza is to die for made in a pizza oven onsight. All drinks are a dollar off on Sunday's!

After hours of working on the house, our family wanted to go out for pizza. We didn't want to go to a chain and we definitely wanted something unique and near the strand and sure enough, Yelp's search brought this place up. We decided to give it a try because the reviews on both Yelp and Google were 4/5. We walked in and there was a few folks at the bar, one lady with a dog but no one really at the restaurant. It was really rainy and cold, and you know Texans don't like either and avoid this combination all together, but we didn't want to cook and we made the trek there. After suiting for a bit, the owner came up and introduced himself and you could just tell that he was so passionate about this establishment. He gave us a grand tour, talked about the wall art, the location, the history of the place. He and talked about the establishment's initiation and how their brick oven was designed and brought in from Italy! He also mentioned that their food was made from scratch in house! How cool! We really liked this place and the pizza was just the cherry on top. We had 2 Big Fred's Pizza and they were delicious. I do have to say that there could have been more sauce in the pizza, but I did ask for it as a side, and it was great. And I guess I was hungry but the pizzas couldn't come fast enough, but when it did I was very satisfied! I will definitely be bringing my family here for some good pizza and walk are for sure.

Oh boy what a great Pizza!. Went to Sharky's and had one of their fantastic crispy crust pizza's made in the coolest oven on the island. 850 degrees makes the crust super thin, super crusty with just a hint of smoke, We had the Pete's that had sausage and jalapeno's. Bonus..the owners are wonderful people, I'm an oven geek and she showed me how it worked. (Next time I'm going to see if I can make my own pie)..haha...You gotta go... $29.00 total bill with one beer, ice tea and generous tip.

Great bar and fabulous pizza. Going back later tonight for the band and later, the open mic. That cherry bomb drink is a keeper!

I was on a mission to escape the hot humid tropicalesqe afternoon that is a Galveston Texas August day. Daiquiri Time Out popped up while spinning the Roulette Wheel that is Yelp. So,with door code in hand I headed out. Taking note of another Yelpers recommendation to arrive early as the place is small and fills up,we did. On the far edge of downtown in a non descript building this bar, billed as a speakeasy, sat. The sidewalk was melting under my feet as I walked towards the door. No entry code needed. After my eyes adjusted, what I saw wasn't what I expected. Dirty Dancing+Saturday Night Fever+Ms Kitty's Gun Smoke saloon had a strange feel. Ok, let's go. We, as the first guest of the soon to be 5'oclock crowd approached the bartender, alone behind a just right mixing station. After perusing a menu of specialties and being guided through a few questions,we ordered. The good- I found an interesting little place to beat the summer heat and enjoy a decent drink. Not so good- not as billed. Overall no quirkiness or unique qualities to write home about. No snackes served with each drink as described by others. Once the place started filling up and I started my second adult beverage, things were looking up. Go,but with lowered expectations.

I was getting pretty bummed but I was patient and understanding. The manager (I believe he was the manager I didn't catch his name but he was in a red shirt and spoke with an accent,) was very apologetic and helpful. He updated me often about the status of our table and treated us to an appetizer to make up for the wait. Food was hot and so tasty. I will be back :)

So other than the service being a little slow, the place was really cute. The ambience is amazing. I love the big chandelier. It gives you old-time rich vibes. Their menu has different options. They do have a vegetarian portion. The samosas were kind of like beef, taco mimosas that's what it taste like to me. They're red fish was really good cause the crab crusted on the outside and the sauce mixed together. I definitely recommend getting that if you like fish. I got it with a side of mac & cheese. It does come with veggies, but they let you change out the side. My mom got the margarita pizza and I've had pizza for sure but they do have five or six options of pizzas to choose from. And all the best thing was the bread pudding. Definitely get that save some room. It was warm with ice cream and the perfect bread pudding. I've ever had get it. There is street parking after six. It's free. There's a garage parking too. I don't know how much it costs. Besides the service, everything was really good. It took them a while to fill up our waters, but I did notice they were shortstaffed.

The Wagyu burgers are very good and so is the crab cake. The drinks are top-notch. The bartender who's there in the later hours is so amazing, so friendly, so funny. You can tell he puts a lot of love into making your drinks. You can sit outside and have a beautiful view of Galveston Island, or inside at a table for two or more. The Caribbean music they play adds a nice touch. It's a great place for a business lunch, a late night with your friends, or if you're staying at the hotel, a nightcap or two would do.

When we arrived, we sat down & someone came up and told us that she'd be with us shortly. Well she said that 2-3 more times but after about 20 minutes of waiting we decided to just walk up to the bar and order ourselves. (The bar was lonely but most of the seats on the patio were occupied by friend groups). We had closed out on the first round of drinks with my card & had signed and tipped it. Then we ordered more drinks but with a different tab and card BUT at the end of the night, we were being charged for all the drinks, including the ones we had previously paid & already tipped for. The new tab that was opened only had one drink on it, and the bartender had reopened our previous tab and added the second round to there. When we brought this up to the bartender he was denying that we had already paid the first tab even though we clearly remembered signing the receipt and handing it back to him. He said he triple checked their system and did not see that tab and was ensuring us that it was not paid (the credit card already showed the charge). Finally, a different bartender that didn't even serve us somehow found the receipt. That was kind of crazy because he ensured us that he looked for it EVERY where and there was no sign of it and that he didn't recall us paying & signing the receipt for the drinks. If you do end up giving this place a try, make sure to ask for an itemized receipt so you know exactly what you are paying for and that there aren't any additional charges like they tried to push on us.
